bbl, kc and koi have way more clout than falcons.

Franchising attempted to cover all the major valorant markets across the globe.
Emea was done pretty well, there was some missed market but alot of them are not bigger enough/influential to be worthy of a slot.

Ntk has already played in T1.
He has played at masters berlin with VK.

pancc has not.

Very unlikely.
It takes alot of work and its the opposite of what riot has done in other games.

NV/OPTIC core definitely have the best longevity.
Though you could already argue that fnatic-core is already the most successful, being the only core to win multiple vct international events.

posted about 2 years ago

the core is inactive also only participated in 2 vct events.

Second place curse.
I'm sorry EG :(

posted about 2 years ago

He's been in fnatic for just over a year now and has progressed into a star.

Ever since he came back from turkey (after-lock//in) he has looked incredible.

I mean a 1.55 rating is a vct final is insane.

For me, He is the MVP of this event.

The only crazy thing I could see is fnatic not banning pearl.
It would be bonkers to pull out a hidden map like that, though it's so unlikely.

posted about 2 years ago

Lotus is fnatic's first pick.
They did pick Fracture first once, when nrg banned lotus.
I would hope that fnatic use the second map ban more strategically.
Fnatic fracture is pretty good but it's not worth the risk to leave it open imo.

posted about 2 years ago

I'd expect the map veto to be:

1. Fnatic ban Pearl
2. Fnatic ban Fracture
3. Fnatic picks Lotus
4. EG picks Ascent
5. Fnatic picks Bind
6. EG picks Split
7. Haven remains

A two map ban advantage seems huge here. Denying EG's fracture would be strong.

+--------+-----------+--------+---------+------+
*some changes in rosters , form and meta would make long term stats ineffective

It seems like EG will have a mountain to climb to win here. Though anything is possible.

She doesnt provide anywhere near the same map control value as chamber/cypher/kj

She just seems like sage 2.0 to me?

Like her sensor seems very weak to contact plays.

There's like a 99% chance verno wont be able to play in the league next year because hes too young.

The VCT 2023 pre-season transfer window will opened on September 26, 2022 and closed on February 1, 2023.

I would expect VCT 2024 to follow a similar timeline.

But yeah sometime after September the 11th (which is when the season ends)

posted about 2 years ago

After Champs, which is the end of the vct season.

Yeah I see the similarities.
Both were on more supporting roles, both additions really raised their respective teams to the next level (top team/frequent title contender).
Also with how fnatic/astralis apparently suffered from a "choking" problem in the past.

posted about 2 years ago

The biggest boost for viewership is really just which of the teams playing and making deep runs. Also close and long series.
Loud, sentinels and Zeta in particular have a huge amount of fans with many of them only interested in watching their teams play.

https://escharts.com/tournaments/valorant/vct-2022-stage-1-masters-reykjavik
Masters 1 reyjavik had great numbers because of this.

Copenhagen had middling numbers due to the "fan favourites" falling early.

posted about 2 years ago

Hard to tell, since they were both picked to help bolster fnatic supportive roles.

posted about 2 years ago

Every VCT International Event he has qualified to he has made the grand finals:

  1. Stage 3 Masters - Berlin: 1st
  2. VALORANT Champions 2021: 2nd
  3. LOCK//IN São Paulo: 1st
  4. Masters Tokyo: Grand finals guaranteed (TBD)

Events missed:

  1. (2021) Stage 2 Masters - Reykavik: 1 win off
  2. (2022) Stage 1 Masters - Reykjavík: 1 win off (if they beat fnc in ub)
  3. (2022) Stage 2 Masters - Copenhagen: 1 win off (twice)
  4. (2022) VALORANT Champions 2022: 1 win off

LANIMAL?

That was not cocky at all. Stop trying to instigate.

He doesn't want to face nrg again because they have played each other alot.
He says prx has a "couple of really good players" as a compliment, not as a reason to why he wants to face them.
