It doesn't really effect us at all.
Fnatic has already lived up to their potential.
Right now FNC are in a bit of a slump, sometimes you need a setback like this to motivate the team to do better.

Me personally, I want to see heretics win madrid. Home crowd + likable squad.

Maybe just maybe anti stratting isn't as easy as people think.
Especially with teams/players that have a deep understanding of the map and don't just play off of set plays.

Zest has just parted ways with IAM.

Regardless of what happened in 2023, kc looks perfect for him.
It seemed like they gave him a lot of faith to rebuild the team, and he has repaid them 10 fold.

Even if they lost today, what this roster has shown so far is still remarkable.
Beating fnatic is the icing on the cake and statement that KC are ready to fight for championships.

He has such a brilliant mind for the game.
Very insightful and interesting post game interview.

The idea to scrim 3v2 / late game scenarios inhouse is super smart.
Optimising aspects of the pracc times and honing in on specific scenarios is clever.

Comp wise a lot variety and freshness to their approaches.

( props to ze1sh , fistie and magnum aswell)

its over.

props to kc.
Bringing a lot of new stuff to the table and deservedly win.

Their lotus was almost uncontestably for the whole of 2023 (Except versus loud), other teams have caught up and learnt though.

Wouldn't be surprised if they switch up their vetoes going forward.
Maybe start leaning towards ascent.

Split will be interesting though, fnatic have not played it in a while
Also should kc play double duelist so its a fun watch.

  1. Map differential
  2. Round differential

Yeah my bad.
I was scanning through the Brazilian coach roundabout and got lost.

Honestly the fundamentals and the structure is solid.
Frod + bzka seems like a good setup.
Mazin calling is decent.
If they could start adding better pieces or pieces with higher firepower in the future they could be a pretty solid team.

Accidently linked the european g2 page instead of the NA one.

Group of Death vs Group of Dephh

Harry maguire by any chance?

A sankey diagram would go crazy (probably too crazy though, maybe more palatable if we are only showing the perfect picks).

posted 1 month ago

Uhhh like the average strength of the group

posted 1 month ago

Karmine CORP have shown a lot of maps and almost the majority of their map pool.
Fnc should have the extra advantage going into it.

Americas Group A: (NRG, MIBR, C9 , FURIA)
Americas Group B: (Loud, Sentinels, Lev, 100T)
Americas Group C: (EG, G2, KRU)

EMEA Group A: (Heretics, KC, FUT, GIANTX)

Pacific Group A: (T1, ZETA, GE, BLEED)
Pacific Group B: (DRX, SECRET, TALON, DFM)
Pacific Group C: (PRX, GEN.G , RRQ)

  2. Pacific C
  3. EMEA A
  4. EMEA C
  5. Americas C
  6. Americas A
  7. EMEA B
  8. Pacific B
  9. Pacific A

-Swapped EMEA B and Americas A. Koi getting cooked a little bit too hard.

FNC VS KC
NAVI VS TH

thats spicy

we need to drug test him IMMEDIATELY

How is the player with the highest first kill presence in Americas not aggressive.

posted 1 month ago

Disappointing result for Vit considering they won 4/4 pistols.
Only "upside" is the fact they were playing with a sub.
However KC were just better plain and simple.

Alfajer.

posted 1 month ago

Lev actually looked good for the most part.
Just remember what teams they were playing.

Would they look "average" versus c9/furia/mibr?

posted 1 month ago

Instead of being top 5 in rating... has he tried being on a top 5 team?

posted 1 month ago

Aussie internet.
don't spoil the result for them.

posted 1 month ago

I saw someone say "they shouldve went for boostio instead of tex".
and i cant stop thinking about that.
Would've made the swap to english make more sense + allow kingg to focus on what he does best... frag.

posted 1 month ago

The floor of emea has definitely raised.
Heretics looked solid, although I need to see more maps from them.
KC and VIT look very interesting.
Navi have looked better this year with ardiis back.
Fnatic is fnatic.
I do agree that the old "3/4/5" has weakened but the league is better this year 100%.

It all depends on who they draw.

As long as the jett is making space he's doing a good job.

posted 2 months ago

He's pretty good.
Although i'm not sure about the pairing of him and doug together.

What about pacific?

or are we counting DRX's 3rd/4th as a podium and not Navi's 3rd/4th as a podium.

Vitality and KOI/LIQUID

also economy values for each kill.

For example: N4rrate got a vandal ace versus pistols (Round 5)

posted 2 months ago

He is not your average NA t2 player.
There was a reason nrg were looking at him

posted 2 months ago

he just aced

posted 2 months ago

Buffs and nerfs in other agents + map pool changes.

Also teams had more time to experiment with non meta picks due to the 6 month off/season

posted 2 months ago

A lot of good pieces, I am surprised they look so cohesive already.

posted 2 months ago

wow really cool stuff from m8

posted 2 months ago

M8 are lanimals.

G2 has been such a frustrating watch so far.
I expected much more from them.

Letting multiple maps slip through their hands.

posted 2 months ago

So many different layers.

a tac pause is needed asap. it might not even be enough

This is the type of comp which requires a long anti strat, so hard to counteract some of these plays on the fly without any prior experiences.

EG getting a bye was a huge advantage here.

posted 2 months ago

They look so lost.

posted 2 months ago

EG looking more structured and way more comfortable on g2 map pick..
apoth just walked up and took so much space in the last round.
The breach pick as well is very fleshed out and has provided a lot of value.

Also, where is trent.
The player with super star potential has yet to shine.
He looked fine flexing roles in tier 2 last year but he's yet to find the same impact.

Can't really be the "goat" coached based on a 6 month period.
Yeah she did miracles with that EG roster but its too soon.
But she also had a not so successful time before franchising.

Loud did a very good job in playing away from aspas and nullifying the value of his OP.
Like in round 9 cauanzin jumps spot A, sees aspas on heaven and Loud completely shift towards B.

Derke and demon1 had good value yesterday creating man advantage retake scenarios which Lev almost never had.
