Nope, no one is even close.

LoL I would probably say DRX T1 worlds 2022.
Rocket league slightly biased but G2 vs Queso at the winter major.
Dota, OG vs PSG-lgd at TI8.

It still feels like it would make more sense to break into tier 2 first and prove herself there.
Although this might only happen with a coed roster.

posted 8 months ago

It could work.
Although I worry that the pressure and expectations could make this move even more risky.

Then again having a player like yay could be good as a mentor and as someone who would share the limelight.

Some sexy stuff from the Mongolz today.
Their pearl is becoming strong.
Skyisblue's neon is clean af.

Leaning into these comps that allow consz to do what he does best is working well.

Second time this week this club has failed to show up.

Sore losers.

Man city are no where near as dominate this season which is reflected by the amount of goals they have already conceded and their weakened overall control on games.

In the premier league last season, Rodri missed 4 games. City lost 3 of those 4, these were their only losses in the premier league that year.

Bellingham had a better output that Vinicius for almost the entirety of the season, ending the season with 1 goal less. (23/24 season)
Real Madrid even had 5 players with double digit goals scored, so its not like vini is carrying them.
The champions league run was not even convincing, scraped by Man city via penalties.
Scraped by Bayern munich, with Neuer making a huge error.

Also.

No the point is Rodri is instrumental for both club and country, Vinicius is not that for Brazil.

Besides Rodri was also a key piece to the man city puzzle, it's very obvious statistically and by watching man city that they struggle without him.

Rodri's consistency should push him above vinicius, who did have higher highs but also had the lower lows.

posted 8 months ago

International football has a huge weight to these awards and vinicius just doesn't do enough for Brazil.

I don't think rodri actually deserved the MVP for the euros but he still had a big impact in Spain winning the whole thing.

Also probably doesn't help that Jude was taking a lot of the spotlight especially in la Liga.

posted 8 months ago

Rodri deserved it over vini.
Although this was a notoriously weak year for the nominations.

He might be back...

nvm.

Very interesting to see what aspas decides to do here.
This might be his only option to compete this year.
It may still be tough for Mibr to build a roster around him considering most other teams have finalised rosters.

We will be seated #BBLiever.

He deserves to be in franchising.
It's a shame what happened with the Navi stuff however this is an even better opportunity.

Surely this time the "tier 2 turkish superteam" makes it to ascension.

  12. Zeta

Something like this.

Yeah seems like very few academy teams.

KC is the only rumour I heard.

Some affiliate stuff seem to be in the works.
BBL have some sought of agreement in place with pcific.
And some loose rumours about TH and Dsyre.

posted 9 months ago

It's gonna be more prevalent in places like APAC.
Atleast RRQ, GE, TLN , T1 , FURIA , LEV are reportedly looking to open teams.

In regions like SEA it's a lot more beneficial because the costs will be lower.
Also helps teams develop talent in house and circumnavigate some of the contract jail issues.

Damn, no mentions of gambit by anyone.
Times have really changed.

The spear pull targeted the sylas.
Hans just completely misplayed the rest of the fight because he thought it bugged (overextended trying to kill the rumble) and then he called for a pause

posted 9 months ago

Very reminiscent of the 2023 roster, which had its ups and downs, but was fun to watch and a promising project.
Some very good players in these trials.

Biggest elephant in the room is the lack of indian representation, in my eyes this means GE must be a competitive team and challenge for international qualifications for it to be justified.
Otherwise they need to actually commit to building a proper academy/developmental roster to continue to support the growth and development of the region.

Signed to play in the off season events.

I'd expect this is in replacement of Leo who probably needs more time to recover.
Fnatic would be playing at Red Bull Home Ground #5.

For most it doesn't make too much sense leaving the GC scene.

Hopefully g2 gozens can make a deeper run in qualifying for vcl dach.
Last time the format was pretty unforgiving, it would've been nice to see them play against other t2/t3 dach teams.

Contains some pretty important context behind why Bleed may have been removed from the vct.

He states:

  • Bleed has delayed salaries (He says this has also affected players in dota 2, valorant and r6)
  • Bleed has failed to pay organisations the buyout fees
  • Kassad and the players paid for the bootcamps.
  • 60% of tournament prize money is still outstanding.

Yeah that makes sense.
Juseu would be nifty pickup considering he should have vcl france residency.
I wouldn't be surprised if they are looking at Darxcio.

Do you know anymore information about the kc academy roster?
Yohpa would be a great pickup.

Most likely just to do with money.
Almost the entire roster were on short term deals and have seen their stocks skyrocket.
Players just trying to get better negotiation leverage or better deals somewhere else.
