Yay was one of the top performer in 22' Season as we all know. But C9 in 23' couldn't afford him to take any longer in the roster, thus killing yay potential in Tier 1 as well as destroying his mental capability !
2. Similar case happened a couple of days ago, Rossy who was able to put himself in the 24' Tier 1 Pacific season remarkably had some of the best performances and game as a whole.
