And I know this is a hot take, but I always thought Sova as an agent shouldn't exist in a tac shooter. Recon wallbangs, shock darts, and his ult all damage/kill enemies from complete safety, and it's unfun to watch and belligerent to play against.

Worst is Ascent, it's the only one I'll skip watching

Best is probably Fracture? It doesn't get picked much so it's fun to see what teams cook up

It's surprising to me that we have so few IGLs on that perma recon role that's just Sova/Fade on most maps.

It's hard to learn at first, but it's a role that deviates very little from the set plays at round start. I imagine it'd be a lot easier to see big-picture and have time to think while on that role.

Now that I think about it, interesting that EDG found vastly more success after putting their recon player on IGL...

I wouldn't say 25 roster is less smart. Dgzin and v1nny seem to be very improvisational, which clashes a bit with cauanzin and tuyz who are used to the more strategy-heavy approach of saadhak's loud

With more reps and practice, this loud could end up very synchronized and quick-thinking

I think we're gonna see a resurgence of no senti + double controller comps, especially when Harbor gets buffed

Double senti feels like an awkward middle ground between the trap plays of double ini and the high stall power of double controller, and I would expect it to fall out of favor as teams become more comfortable later in the year and as Tejo gameplay develops

If they drop hype, put batujnax on senti, and recruit a good recon ini they can cook
