1. They should tell you, but I don't think it'd be unprofessional to ask if you had a reason to (ie the person interviewing you doesn't seem to understand your skillset and you want to know if they are familiar with what you do)
2. This is fine if you're asking about something specific. "What am I supposed to do actually?" would make you look like an idiot.
3. Some companies are weird about hiring family members, some look to do it on purpose. It really depends what kind of company you're interviewing with. I would get a lowdown from the family member before mentioning this at all.
4. Idek how you would put this in the middle of the interview, but when you first walk in and before you leave it's fine. They're not expecting you to be a robot and most likely don't want to work with a robot anyway.

Just bring a copy of your resume, be familiar with the job requirements prior to showing up, ask relevant questions to the position if you have them, and answer anything they ask in a way that makes you look as reasonable and qualified as possible. An interview should feel like a conversation, its not for either side to really be grilling the other.
