are you kidding? PRIME OpTic clears almost any team in NA at any point, only debatable one is prime SEN.
i never said they were bad, just saying that LOUD (arguably better roster post-franchise with two young superstars), NRG (FNS (greatest midrounding igl) and chet have the ability to turn any mid player into a master class, as soon as victor turns up its wraps), LEV (kingg, shyy, and tacolilla have insane firepower), and possibly FURIA (mwzera & lost by only 6 rounds to the best team itw (currently)) and 100T (tbh same tier as SEN right now, nothing special) are better than SEN.

SEN will never be top 3 as long as LOUD, NRG, and LEV are around. even FURIA and 100T are arguably better!

TGRD lost to a new TSM roster (very little info and vods to review) with a completely different igl. give them a week and they will OWN TSM. G2 on the other hand, lost to TTR who had already played with that roster previously, simply a skill diff.

optic is a great org though, very wealthy, huge fanbase that follows the org throughout different games, legendary players too (formaL, scump). they just didn’t have a good relationship with riot :[

george guesses reported that someone already on NRG would be their 6th man. i’m just wondering who. ethos is the only logical one that comes to mind - hes very flexible and has tourney experience. chet himself would definitely not coach and 6th man at the same time and ive never really seen their analysts play before so i was just hypothesizing.
my bad bro, still didnt address my point about vanity though! and why would C9 sign yay, AND PAY HIS 1 MILLION DOLLAR BUYOUT, knowing he has a salary the same as the other 4 players combined?? sucks for yay tbh, C9 signed him, dropped him, and now he has little chance of being on a franchised team.

the difference is saadhak doesn’t hold his team back. we all know SEN was one of the best teams on paper (until they lost to TSM), 2 world champs, 1 masters winner, the other players and coaches all have international experience. the reason they didnt perform is because somebody clearly does not know how to igl defensive side and can’t make up for it with mechanics either.
saadhak is a top 5 igl IN THE WORLD calling-wise and frags well MAJORITY of the time as well. from what we’ve seen from dephh, not only is he lost on CT half, but his aim is worse than FNS’ which says a lot. even FNS has been improving his aim (which we saw at LOCK//IN) so the fact that dephh cant do either (aim and shot-call) puts him far behind most igls.
if he cant perform and prove himself at the start of VCT AMERICAS league, he should be kicked immediately.
real question is why would he kick vanity for a T2 igl that couldn’t even qualify for VCL..
breaking the core of vanity leaf and xeppaa just doesn’t seem like the right move, kicking yay is understandable (mutual decision - yay has a different mindset but has a small agent pool) but i don’t understand dropping vanity.
on the other hand, someone already in NRG will be the new sixth, possibly ethos??
