I'm guessing most orgs have terms that state they can alter or completely terminate player contracts any time they want under those regulations. Or they have negotiated a contract for the year after expiration which is where the lower fee comes from.

Nobody who places top 8 should even be considered fraudulent. This game still has a percentage of luck involved depending on whoever is having a good day or not. Every team in top 8 has a chance to do bad in a game due to this (Fnatic included).
Let's be for real. Everyone who isn't a bandwagoner knew this would happen and EDG would be expected to place 5th/6th which they had done. They were in no place a contender for the trophy but are definitely a top 8 team internationally at the very least.
For BLG, this tournament should've exceeded most peoples expectations by even qualifying for playoffs.

This type of stuff makes the gameplay so much more refreshing and fast compared to the Fnatic style which was slower and boring to watch. I don't think it makes it necessarily bad.
I think Loud losing will probably give EDG a better chance. PRX have won against EDG every single time they have played. Either way, EDG will probably lose the next game and placing 5-6th which is expected. Top 4 would just be exceeding expectations.

This is the reasoning I thought most people would understand. The only way you can interpret what Boostio said as racist is if you take it out of context and just use that specific sentence. It would be racist if he said they were garbage at the game because they were Chinese, but instead it is because the region is newer.
It's definitely not meant to be racist but the way he put it can make people assume that he's saying "All chinese people are shit *at the game" by saying "good for a Chinese team".
The mistakes are legitimately them running it down after getting kills. I don't think strats are the main issue but is rather something that would benefit them greatly.
Its not the coaches and strats. They're literally just running it down after gaining a player advantage. If they take the player advantage and use it against BLG, Split would've probably be a win
