Name a better duo

I honestly would be surprised. I've been saying since before their match that the winner of DRX/OpTic would win the tournament. That's why I was surprised OpTic lost to LOUD, but looks like OpTic showed up today.

he only has bad mechanics cuz he's busy IGLing. in ranked its easier to just rely on your own skills.

it's okay to be depressed that the team you rooted for lost man don't listen to them. at least it means you weren't bandwagoning and you're a real fan. better luck next masters.

i enjoy deathmatch more than comp nowadays tbh, i always play that.
what region are you from actually

posted about 3 years ago

yeah i was imm2 i got it in like a week.

but elo doesn't matter unless you plan to go pro. in the end it's a game and we play for fun. it does come in handy though because i can say "ratio+im higher rank than u" to random ppl on the internet.

posted about 3 years ago

yeah. thats barely a full act triangle iirc.

think my average amount of games in one act is like 30 lmao.

posted about 3 years ago

not hardstuck but when i was a diamond dog it was cuz i overheated all the time.

and i dont grind too. my most played act was only 70 games.

yeah, i've also IGL'ed before and it's tough. It takes a looong time for you to be able to focus on your own gameplay because the synergy between you and your teammates isn't there. I don't think micromanaging is healthy or important though, and I haven't done that. It's better to make the most of your time during setup to coordinate a plan, and then adjust during the midround with what you have.

I think it's unnecessary and bloats comms to say stuff like "can you stand here and smoke this" etc. It's better to have some sort of pre-existing coordination so you can rely on your teammates to execute the simplest stuff instead of babying them.

I think the biggest factor in IGLing is presence of mind. To be aware of which player plays which site, what their timings are, what they like to do, or who's died without having to check the map/trying to remember is really important and it seems like it's not necessarily a skill that is taught as much as it is talent. People who are able to keep track of everything that's going on in the round whilst also playing the game are rare, but they make for really good IGLs, like Redgar.

And that split-second decision making when you are able to make an educated guess on what the opponent's team will do, whether they will over-rotate or commit to a site, or wait for a flank/are flanking to contain you is also really important. It boils down to experience. You get this intuition that comes through playing the game a lot.

in terms of english it more strongly suggests that both diamond and immortal aren't far.
If you were speaking about the gap between diamond and immortal a better sentence would be "immortal isn't far from diamond anyway".
by saying " and dia and imt aint that far anyways" you heavily imply that dia (aint that far anyways) and immortal (aint that far anyways).

at this point it's just semantics although i think anybody with a good understanding of english will agree with me rather than you.

"and dia and imt aint that far anyways"
unless you are either bad at english or have alzheimer's or something this very strongly suggests you are not dia nor immortal

I'm calling you fucked because you're plat and you're saying immortal is ez af. That's fucked lmao you are delusional.

if i called anyone who disagreed with me a fucked person i wouldn't be on this site - however there are people who disagree and there are people who are straight up delusional like you.
