Unlike you I actually have competitive coaching/analytical experience in NA so I think I have more of an idea on what I'm talking about.
I'm also high immortal and have reached immortal in 2 regions.
You obviously haven't been watching DRX play the game as their defaults and fundamentals are some of the best in the world.
I respect(ed) the opinion you have and why you think that way, but when a lot of pro players and analysts (Sean Gares, Sideshow, TenZ, nAts, Tarik, Benkai, Laz, Mixwell, Suygetsu, Derke, Sliggy, Soulcas) have spoken on how good DRX are and how tactically and strategically clean they are, it's fair to say my argument has more credibility than yours.
UPDATE: Well now after seeing this reply it's really not worth my time to keep talking to you. You call me a biased Korean but you yourself are heavily, heavily biased towards EU no? Looking through your post history it's very clear. You also predicted APAC to not do well at Reykjavik lmao, guess Paper Rex really broke you after 2-0ing your #1 seed. Not to mention Gambit are indeed not as clean as DRX. If you watched DRX's games their trades are really clean along with their positioning. Stax has also gone on record to say they actually don't use set strats that much and just comm like every other team. So the structured and cohesive gameplay you see is literally just them playing normally, without relying on gimmicks or set-plays. Seems like you're projecting because you seem to call anybody who disagrees with you "max gold", I suspect if Trick wasn't a decently well-known pro player you'd have called him max gold too lmao. Seeing as how during his Champions interview Derke (your top 2 player itw) specifically called KR the 2nd best region and that they were very good despite getting grouped, you should calm down.

I guess some EU fanboys can't be reasoned with /shrug.
false. anybody above diamond can see that even in basic fundamentals and synergy DRX are a well oiled machine. Tarik pointed out how barely seconds after spike was planted DRX had formed a really good triple crossfire. That stuff isn't a gimmick. What is a gimmick is stuff like yay's double updraft on Icebox. That he doesn't even use in pro games. DRX's set plays and executes are copied by or inspire other top teams around the world. (new 100Thieves literally made their own version of one of DRX's Icebox plants) That's no gimmick. Ask any reliable analyst, coach, or pro player and they will tell you at the very least that DRX are a very good strategical and tactical team.
I personally use the razer viper ultimate because it seemed a good mouse for the price plus i got a charging dock for it. very handy.
A lot of people like the G Pro superlight. it's got neutral visual design, but comfortable for most hands, suitable for any kind of grip, and the tech in it is very good.
thanks i legit could not think of a proper name and this was the first word that came into my head lmao
DRX are really clean and when they are confident and at their peak they could prob beat any team in the world.
But they haven't showed that consistency. I think the team that has shown that same peak DRX has, only consistently, is Gambit.
If DRX get their shit together AKA they fix their mental/choking issues they 100% could be a cleaner Gambit. You can see Gambit aren't as precise and clean as DRX, but they are a lot more organic and less likely to choke.
The SKT of League/the OG of Dota 2/the Astralis of CSGO would be a team that can be as strategic as DRX while also having the flexibility of Gambit, mark my words.
vlr
-more degenerate and uncivilised. i like it, has its charm.
-quicker stream of information and reactions
-occasionally find some rare gold nuggets of info (roster moves, rumours)
-derke/other pros comment every once in a while
-match threads for almost every game exist even if they're not well-known
-unbiased upvote/downvote system that doesn't hide anything
-less hivemind-y reactions. seems like in vlr anybody can speak their mind and give their opinion, even if it sucks or it's based. i like the freedom of it.
-pickems
reddit
-more civilised
-the average post is more relevant to esports discussions
-occasionally very nice analysis can be found
-comparatively less active
-annoying hivemind sometimes
-live threads
-clips
-journalism posts are easier to find
-(personal opinion) its too NA biased. EU 2nd most talked about and then BR/APAC/KR/JP/LATAM/OCE are barely ever talked about. and the reactions to these regions are so outdated or braindead, like silver 2 takes. i actually think reddit analysts suck compared to certain people on vlr, it's just that people like slowrmaths are really good because they write their analysis on MEDIUM and MEDIUM is actually the best site for analysis posts.
Seoldam
Stax
Zest
MaKo
BuZz
would be a pretty sick lineup ngl. BuZz can play Raze pretty well too.

Shot_Up the madman was a TA and also took the hardest Computer Science classes at Purdue (a top 10 US uni for STEM) while playing for Immortals and FaZe.
everybody forgot X10C/XERXIA
a man can have his kinks, but goddamn I did not know Dasnerth was this much of a bottom.
smokin that Trembo pack
FNS clutches up big time though. He can frag when he's not brewing strategical potions in the alchemy drug lab that is his head. The legend of Punjabi Methamphetamine.
i made it up
trembolona gone too sadge.
thats true g2 got annihilated. i still have ptsd fron 2019 tho
yeah. Back when he was a caster/analyst he would always hype up VS, in Berlin, and at Champs. He and I share the same belief in that the way DRX plays is the way Valorant should be played.
Sliggy was one of the coaches that really pushed the meta. Sad to see him stepping down.
i like the king of valorant gag. its funny.
fuckkk who cars? onstage at copenhagen masters would be insane
sean LOVES vision strikers/DRX. He's been watching their vods and talking about them since Stage 1.
it's a good start. Might be better to incorporate screenshots because people may find walls of text scary.
Chronicle ace
Stax ace
Laz ace
my score is similar to derke!
imm2 and i got like 80k+ on gridshot. dont really use aimlab
RickyIndian getting that W
cNed is nasty with the op. probably thinking of putting him on sage/chamber.
Breeze is fun. just aim duel everywhere. aim duel mid doors.
aim duel halls.
aim duel cave.
aim duel tunnel.
aim duel elbow.
aim duel ct.
aim duel t.
aim duel nest.
aim duel left titty.
aim duel stairs.
aim duel pillar.
aim duel B main.
also good for oping :)
You don't have to be able to run the game to analyse it. Although it is 10000% better if you're in the coaching spot.
Since the teams I worked with were based in NA there was a huge time difference and so we opted to record a VOD whenever I couldn't attend.
here's what you should do: make posts on notable sites like MEDIUM, or make videos on youtube. Alternatively you can even write posts on VLR or reddit, because pros do read the forums every once in a while. Slowrmaths (the analyst for Knights) actually started out by making breakdowns and analysis posts on Medium and linking them to ValComp i believe.
You need to have some kind of resumé or body of work for people to notice you. I got asked to coach a small imm3 team off a reddit DM.
But sometimes it's about connections; my NA Radiant friend invited me to be the analyst for the tier 2 team he was joining.
The most surefire way to get noticed is to make yourself noticeable. Be active with your analysis, and if a team likes the way you approach the game they'll pick you up.
i myself have been thinking of setting up a MEDIUM account and writing posts but i'm lazy and Valorant is still just a 4fun game for me.
yeah, it's really heartwarming
yeah tbh if you have good aim u can make it to diamond on it alone.
