Fight for mid, this is important. If you hard rush through any of the mains, you will get destroyed by the defense especially on a flank heavy map like this. It'll be like Germany in the 1940s all over again.

Here is an example of an A hit:
Smoke off Mid Top and take space of A Link using initiators (drone, dog, wolf, etc.) or whatever else that will allow you to get that space. After taking space of A Link, ask for some utility to get into A Yard (via blinds, another form of drone/dog/wolf, flashes, etc.) to push up with the A Main players. You can leave one to lurk on B to get ready for a pivot. Already, this removes so much bullsheet variables instead of just dead rushing from main.

That is just one example. Stop hard rushing on A especially. B can work with hard rushes especially if you have a Raze.

I understand if you have never seen the map, but I have queued with and against repeat offenders of this map who play it horribly on (currently) low immortal to mid ascendant lobbies.

I am glad you see the vision. Geniuses (like us) see the world through a more refined lens than these average spectators. We see Verno's endless potential while they see nothing.

Job, employment, work, job application, and grass is what he needs right now (and maybe to those reading this).

The poor performance out of him proves why Verno is the current goat and Ion is next in line to dethrone Chronicle out of the top 10 spot (behind Verno, aspas, Wardell, TenZ, me, something, C0M, Mako, and BuZz).

It is unfortunate FNC Chronicle is one of the best players in Valorant. His precise-level of aiming + midrounding decisions, calculative positioning, and levels of expertise to pilot through tough situations where most players would fall. The way he maneuvers himself and the aura he exudes just by being on the field gives his allies a boost of confidence and his enemies fear knowing their fate will be under their grave.

However, FNC Chronicle made a disgusting and unfathomable tweet that changed my perspective on him as both a player and person forever. Disrespecting the superior version of himself due to JEALOUSY shows the lack of humbleness and sportsmanship. Although FNC Chronicle is a great player, he holds NO candle to my liege MIBR Verno.

MIBR Verno outclasses FNC Chronicle on just about every skillset FNC Chronicle has. For how well I praised FNC Chronicle, you can already infer just the status of MIBR Verno. MIBR Verno is LEAGUES above FNC Chronicle.

To slander my king over pure jealousy over on Twitter is enough grounds for my emperor to exile FNC Chronicle out of the next LAN. MIBR Verno will see playoffs as he smiles and waves off FNC Chronicle (because he eliminated FNC off the Swiss stages).

"Seasonal merchant" and he consistently puts up amazing performances ever since he was a rookie. He has two bad games and now the community decides he is shit.

Derke over BuZz, aspas, or texture?

Assumptions:

  • No bad blood
  • Each player (retired or active) is at their peak
  • Language barrier does not exist
  • Synergy is at 100%

I think it would be // keznit, leo, s0m, nAts (IGL), nobody

Americas > APAC > CN > EU

Europe is horrible. Team Heretics fluked their 2024 run. FNATIC is their only good team that actually has great odds to win Toronto.

#3 CN team beats #2 EMEA nah EU is cooked forever 😭😭

At least Chamber required gunplay lmao. What I just witnessed from G2 was a round win without a SINGLE bullet shot. Pure utility win from a game that advertised precise gunplay.

This agent (to no one's surprise) is the most unfun and broken agent I have seen and imo surpasses prime Chamber for pro play (not ranked)

Tejo has the best drone in the game surpassing Sova, Skye, and Fade. Tejo has the best post-plant AND area denial utility by far. Tejo stun is essentially just Neon's but only one area instead of two. This is not fun to watch.

Actual fixes for this agent aside from deleting him:
Nerf the timer of his drone, remove the ability for it to jump, and do not let it suppress abilities from hit targets. It makes no sense how a tiny ass drone jumps higher than a wolf.

Make the rockets a ONE TIME use ability. No CD reset, no reset on every other kill. Just give players one opportunity to use an iPad molly.

The stun is okay, maybe not make its projectile speed so fast.

Smaller width range for the ultimate. It is way too fat.

Introduce agent bans too.

I have two:

I wonder how Wardell would perform now if he continued pro play. At the peak of his career, he was a top three player of NA and even towards the end of his career his talent was among the top.

I also wonder how ScreaM would perform if he never became an IGL and picked up a different main role akin to what TenZ did (not the IGL part ofc). In terms of his CS career, he was only above average amongst the pros and that is because his mechanics were among the top. He was not made to IGL. Unlike Wardell, ScreaM probably was the best EMEA player of his time like what aspas is to the Americas.

Ok nevermind. Aspas is the #1 and #2 player of Valorant 😭

Ah, sorry for misunderstanding. The stats I used were strictly from the playoffs of each Champions (2021-24) year.

2024 EMEA was not bad. FNATIC just happened to go up against LEV (#3) and SEN (#4) who was on form that day. Team Heretics was ridiculously strong as well and they placed #2.

That's not true. There's 15 of them right now playing for the Lakers.

There is no debate that a Lebron of Valorant does not exist right now. There is no one that is close to the metric of Lebron in both achievement, skill set variety, and/or longevity. For reference, Faker is the Lebron of LoL. That is how high that title is. Valorant is too young for us to call anyone Faker or Lebron.

However, if an alien entity decides to descend to Earth on the 19th of March and hold a meteor at point to Earth and force us to answer who the GOAT of Valorant is, we need to be prepared.

In terms of achievement, the player with the most finals trophies would be:

No one. 2021 Acend, 2022 LOUD, 2023 Evil Geniuses, and 2024 EDward Gaming have no repeating players.

However, if we were to use the 10 highest ACS players on each Champions playoffs, including longevity, and weed out the players who are not in the top 10 more than once, we would have:

aspas: 3 (2022, 23, 24), won 2022 Finals
BuZz: 3 (2022, 23, 24)
Derke: 3 (2021, 22, 24)
Chronicle: 2 (2021, 24)
Less: 2 (2022, 23)

In terms of individual value/performance + longevity, aspas is the #1 player in Valorant. BuZz and Derke is tied for #2. Chronicle and Less is tied for #3.

If we were to average out their ACS from the years they were the top 10 highest ACS in finals play offs, the ranking would look more like:

#1: Derke avg. 265.70 ACS (3)
#2: aspas avg. 225.40 ACS (3) (Won 2022 Finals)
#3: BuZz avg. 225.13 ACS (3)
#4: Chronicle avg. 236.35 ACS (2)
#5: Less avg. 222.35 ACS (2)

In that ranking, Derke would be the #1 highest performing player with longevity by far.

I understand ACS is flawed and biased towards duelists so maybe the correct term would actually be the Best Shooter or Steph Curry of Valorant... but it does not sound nearly as good as The Lebron or The Faker of Valorant.

In conclusion, when the alien entity on the 19th of March asks us who the Lebron/Faker of Valorant is, our closest player (not really) would be:

Derke and aspas
