to me G2 has been a team which has high peaks and low lows, I think if they get to the finals either could happen. But I'm 55/45 on them underperforming simply cause of GENG's baseline performance
TH hasn't had the best opponents until the playoffs, they seem super prep heavy (look at how good their bind attack was compared to their defence today), so I think they could fall short between tomorrow and Sunday if they win tmrw
imo GENG easily have a roughly 70% chance to win the event

For 99% of people (ranked; from low immortal and below) this wont make a difference. In fact 1 stun and a shorter wall will just make it easier to play against
People keep on going on about an 'L crowd' in brazil or whatever, but in hindsight it's actually the best crowd we've had yet. If LOUD had won they would've been that much more excited, but as Fnatic won the crowd was still a cool factor, the eerie silence spoke volumes when the comeback was happening.
But even small shit like taking away Boostio's pig just makes the rest of what they promote feel forced and fake.

I think it's good that they're starting to at least acknowledge it, but I'm very sceptical with the way they deal with it. It's effectively 'you can talk shit, but only if we like it' from the way I see it.
Being strict and authoritative never works in the long term (excluding some extreme cases). At the end of the day no one can complain and expect to make a difference about a free product, which was probably by design.
But I still think it's not a formula for long term success, because you'll end up just making it boring (subjective) compared to other sports/esports
fr sports banter and culture provided in a more accessible package is literally the USP of esports. I don't think the VCT will survive long term if they keep on clamping down on these kind of things

prefacing this by saying that this is completely subjective based off of my perceived entertainment value, which can be influenced by story lines, production, the crowd or random shit like the BLG incident.

I agree with you partially, the thing is that south pacific outside of PRX is already very weak, same goes for SA with Loud. I think if they get chances to scrim and interact with more local t2 talent that can only be a good thing for competition, which'll mean the teams will remain at their current levels, if not get any better.
I agree that players should be open to criticism for their performances, but in most cases like this I feel like this kind of performance is only a part of the picture when it comes to the type of people who dogpile on players. I think some people just don't like to see others being happy ngl
