points 1 and 3 I see more from SEN fans than anyone else ngl
What if the players you liked were evenly distributed across the league, A or B?
Let's say you have a region with 12 teams.
Would you prefer if:
A - The top 3rd-4th teams were much, much better than the rest, these teams always make it far in Masters/Champs. (Consistency)
B - Overall the league is almost completely homogenous from 1st-6th, any team has a chance in regional playoffs, but this means that there is a higher chance of your region underperforming at Masters/Champs (Randomness)
In Scenario A, the international matches would be much better (for example how we had 2022), but in Scenario B the regionals are much closer, and the international matches are lower quality relative to the regional teams (such as this year)
I'm biased towards saying 2023 was the best year, but even then 2022 was just different, idk if it's rational but it was just a more entertaining product.
21 had its moments, (disregarding the quality of strategy). The SEN vs FNC match was a banger in entertainment value as we get NA vs EU right off the bat, and that continuing to Gambit and NV (Arguably the most dominant teams for each region relative to the time we've seen to date). but I think I do agree overall it's just:

see I don't like the fact that you're saying 'form' when the sample size is 2 (3 if you count the FNC loss, but that game was poor from them) for VIT; and only 1 loss for Heretics
Heretics looked much better in the FUT game, I think the reason they played close isn't because of heretics were playing poorly in particular, but because FUT were adapting well midround. Unless heretics drop maps to 3-4th Chinese teams in groups I still hold them at the same regard I did during Shanghai/Split 2

But if you subscribe to that logic, every single first tournament is and always will be a mickey mouse, because the teams that do well at the start, outside of say the top 3 rarely maintain their form for the rest of the year as other teams catch up/meta changes. Are you willing to say with 100% certainty that every masters 1 will be mickey mouse?
