People are putting the burden on him but I don't get it. He has the right to drop investments that are losing millions a year, and presumably they're still upholding the payment of player contracts. The problem is Riot and their failures to accommodate the circumstances for their dumb fuck franchise league.

I can't understand why ohne has so many dickriding fans acting like a chimpanzee over skins and regurgitating xqc mannerisms. Good for him though.

I don't think many actually care enough to avoid being seen as hypocritical. The real thing people care about is finding a goofy reason to talk shit about EU, and if that means pretending they care about BR then that's what they'll do.

Sure, you can even use the guide on this one that's built in the results page after you punch in your numbers:
https://www.calculator.net/calorie-calculator.html

My biggest advice I'd also give to someone is to also not be obsessed with weighing yourself. Don't weigh yourself too often or you're just fucking yourself up psychologically since weight can vary broadly by random water retention variances. If you're eating close to these recommended numbers you should be fine, and maybe adjust if you feel like it. The variances of metabolism is also widely overstated and it varies for like 300 calories at most. If you're counting decently enough and don't have the results you want after a bit, drop the calories a bit lower.

Ab's not showing? Either you're not actually eating under your caloric maintenance or you just have very stubborn fat deposition genetics.
Protein intake? It's generally pretty overstated, you can go half bodyweight(in lbs) in grams or 3/4 bodyweight in grams and it's very ideal. I've never liked protein powder because it bloated the fuck out of me.
Swimming is a very slow twitch form of exercise. Building muscle is done by creating microtears in your muscles and proper resistance training like weightlifting is much more suited than swimming, which would mostly fatigue your muscles.

I think you should calculate your calorie maintenance level online based on height and weight, calc your diet calories in/out, and go whichever direction suits your goals

People who complain about people watching tarik and then recommend sliggy is like walking into a steakhouse and telling everyone they should've got ice cream instead. They do different shit.

Biggest chat and way more freedom to shitpost compared to valo main channel, most people enjoy freely sharing the hype and atmosphere with others. He basically plugged in a need that Riot wasn't fulfilling and he's reaping the rewards. Viewers now expect that need to be fulfilled on his channel so they'll just go there forever unless he self-sabotages, it'll be hard for anyone to take him down.

Western europeans are more culturally relatable to NA than south americans. Unless you're in Miami or something I don't expect them to have comparable fanfare here.

I just mean franchising in the colloquial sense everyone seems to use it, which is like 1 entity practically controlling the esport and living and dying off that. I might be wrong now but last I checked in cs, you aren't really barred from competing in other shit simultaneously online and there's a ton of competition and overlapping. Otherwise the debate becomes "should esports have profit share leagues?" which is a boring "sure, who gives a fuck." It only gets fucky when it's 1 corp driving the ecosystem.

Open circuit like in CS is far better. You have a ton of different organizers jockeying against each other with different production styles and commentators and the best ones prevail, and the seasons are packed with opportunities to compete for teams outside of franchising. Meanwhile, Riot was running their goofy ass cyber-cringe production style for ages, they pushed out Sean gares and DDK from commentary for some reason, their off-seasons are disasters running the T2 org scene to the ground, and franchise locks keep shitters and regretful roster moves trapped for an entire year. Theoretically Riot can suddenly do great but there aren't as much selective pressures to really improve when Riot is withholding the right to big scale events for themselves. Worst case scenario in open circuit is just getting ran by Saudi blood money, but does it really make a difference since Riot is in bed with China?

Major with NRG, starladder and ESL NY or whatever it was was all before online era. They were #1 before that.

Loved it. A fun, respectful crowd really enhanced the experience.

It's good to nurture the interest of other regions, or else you just end up like CSGO which is basically just Europe at this point.

it's pretty great. EG's story arc has been pretty fantastic, and Japan crowds are always the fucking best. Loved Japan MMA crowds.

It's a tough situation. I can imagine that the hardest people to help with mental health issues are the conspiratorial ones, which Sick seems to be at this time.

The gaming industry in the last 10 years tells me that western dev's are willing to torch their entire reputation in the west just to appease China and keep a foot in that market. Look at Blizzard shit all over themselves with the Hong Kong shit, or Steam and GOG taking down Taiwanese games because they made some Chinese people angwy.

posted 11 months ago

Competitively yes, it's obvious they don't deserve it and yes it's obviously unfair on that basis. But this is Riot's circuit and they care more about platforming and garnering the broadest interest worldwide in their product over competitive integrity. Another reason why open circuit is much better than a dev having total control of the competitive scene.

now compare to his criticism towards lockin crowd.

Sounds like you're the one who should watch the criticism again. I swear you idiots just let a narrative of tarik's opinion replace the actual criticism and are just attacking him based on a dumb mirage.

Yes, and you forgot that it will illegally leak at least a week before release date as well.

Holy shit we're so much better at everything it's crazy

posted 11 months ago

Should be obvious. They were the most popular team in NA with the Sinatraa lineup alongside TSM before Tenz even came.

posted 11 months ago

Stop comparing it to other e-sports/sports. Tac fps is too information sensitive. When you are giving too much information it hurts the game.

posted 11 months ago

Nah, this is a game of imperfect information and acquiring within rounds is an in-game skill. There needs to be some decency and respect for it. Some are fine but some go too far.

posted 11 months ago

Yes. They found success and if their eventual ceiling was reached with the roster, then Tenz->Zekken would be explored. That's how it is. Our reality is the reverse of that and they SHOULD be riding this lineup till the wheels fall off.

posted 11 months ago

I talked shit about Brazil's crowd back then too but two wrongs don't make a right. And stuck in an entire franchise league where it happens is probably worse than that fairly inconsequential intro tourny. Though to be fair, I rarely see it happen here. Only this dipshit 100T crowd seemed super objectionable.

posted 11 months ago

Agreed. But that fortunately also means it's very controllable by Riot, they just need to take some action.

posted 11 months ago

SA teams shouldn't be in a franchised league with a crowd doing info callouts against them, that's for sure. Riot needs to kick these retards in the crowd out of the arena, that's all.

I think most people would rather set themselves on fire than have to be stuck with dasnerth in a team environment

posted 11 months ago

Tenz has high highs and low lows. Zekken is at the very least smart and decently reliable. With how much firepower is unlocked with the roster I don't see why you'd want to throw a wild card in there instead of Zekken.

posted 11 months ago

They're in a tough spot though... If they lock in a playoff qual maybe they can get some reps with Tenz in but if Sen prioritize competition it's hard to justify putting Tenz back in when they look this sharp.

posted 11 months ago

Tenz fans CLINGING to the dephh bad narrative, it's the only lifeline for their king

How long will it take for Riot to crack and give NA charity spots because we're getting omega dicked by SA and they want the viewership? I want them to continue getting crushed just to see it.
