At the end of the day, hell probably either be so good that M8 gets to champs ot he will hop to a different tier 1 team by next season. Its unfortunate for the rest of his team for sure, but hes made enough of a name for himself that he basically has a guaranteed spot somewhere atp. His goal is probably to find a franchised team after this year anyway.

GenG isn’t really comparable to t1 lol, they performed well in both masters and while they got grouped at champs, it was by 4th and second place and even then they beat sen the first time.
T1 crashed out instantly for just the second masters and didn’t even look that competitive.
