Bind imo is fine, but the players seem to relax and unable to adapt right now, which will be fixed with time because the yoru comp is surprisingly flexible in the way they play.

Now for OG maps. The issues prior to johnqt were all midrounding, as every single igl failed to do that, and just like shaz, dephh, they could not adapt mid game. John can do that, but the issue is that sens main opper has been moved to a smokes/flashes role, so until zekken is able to be really good and consistent with the op, they will struggle on ascent, breeze and even haven

posted 2 months ago

True but Loud hasnt played it in a while too. But then what about ascent or breeze?

posted 3 months ago

run a yoru instead of kay o and they win lmao

posted 3 months ago

he has a good kay o, but he cant run in with kay o because np tp to quickly get away, and kay o provides more value setting others up, but without tenz on omen, he only has zekken to aggressively set up

posted 3 months ago

Any map where tenz is forced to be an actual support and cannot run it down with zekken. Icebox, Breeze and Ascent all rely too heavily on zekken and the op

posted 3 months ago

he left and uses an alt called exitfrag on twitter now

sens comp clears any variation of double duelist

1) Cryo
2) Bang

posted 3 months ago

you wanna talk about impact kills? Sadhaak vs sen game 1 on split, or his judge against them on ascent, or him killing both lurkers to win icebox, dude saadhak is different

posted 3 months ago

mhm they just need time to find better comps to integrate d1. I think running a double duelist would have been a safer option as both teams have experience with that comp and comfort too, but double duelist is pretty mid now too

posted 3 months ago

astra would not fit into the comp they were running with skye and breach

posted 3 months ago

tenz was asleep this bind game, same with everyone except john and maybe sacy

posted 3 months ago

mhm youre right but honestly speaking man, joy will never just randomly show up at your door. It sounds like 10x easier than it is, but maybe try doing some side hobbies, we often enjoy seeing our growth :)

posted 3 months ago

If youre cooked anyways, might as well season it with some joy and happiness

posted 3 months ago

because brim or astra with that comp will not work. NRG ran, viper, omen, raze, skye and breach I think. This means aside from 2 flashes, they have no info, which also means they are gonna be forced to trade bodies and play aggressive for info. And that is better with omen than astra or brim. Omen composition wise was the safest choice, but overall I didnt think their split comp was good anyways.

Plus they struggled more with not having a win condition, since d1 isnt on duelist you cant just play to let him frag

Sorry I dont really understand? You get points if you win masters, there are 2 masters so 2 ways to get points there. Then there are 2 splits, and each of those 2 give you points for winning . So, if you havent already gotten points like prx or Loud, then you only have 4 more chances to get points (if you qualified to Madrid), otherwise you only have 3 chances. The format is really snowbally and having an early advantage is key which is why our loss to geng sucks

posted 3 months ago

pretty sure you do, thats the main incentive for winning a masters

posted 3 months ago

no split 1 and 2 have points, masters shanghai and madrid have points and madrid qualifiers have points. These 3 points are massive considering how competitive americas is, regardless of even int events

posted 3 months ago

they didnt cook no one, icebox ended 11-13 lmao

posted 3 months ago

those 3 points are crucial with how tough americas is, no team is guaranteed to keep this ranking. For example, split 1 and 2 will have 100t, C9, MIBR, Lev, NRG and G2 with even more prep time, and while you can scoff at every team except Lev, 100T and NRG, that alone is 3 more teams capable of number 1 (which gives 3 points). Now aside from split 1, split 2 and masters shanghai + madrid, you dont have anymore chances to make champs, and since masters is international its harder there.

tbf mibr is a good team

Bro the hunt for this guy is like the witch trials

posted 3 months ago

comp being leaked means nothing, because at the end of the day sen just tried to play their best, not disrupt nrg in anyways. Zellsis also said this in the interview.

I need to sleep, next time bro on the tab

posted 3 months ago

They clearly weren't confident in Lotus and thought that watching all the split VODs would at least give them a better understanding than the one game of lotus where sen didnt even need to do too much

bro is hosting a jumping

posted 3 months ago

no pls dont

posted 3 months ago

its acc so weird, considering how passive deph was anyways, youd legit have suicide entry zekken every round, and it would be even worse considering how the meta was favoring double duelists on maps like bind and split, like I would have LOOOVED to see dephh on a duelist role

posted 3 months ago

no ducking way this is so fudging crazy I cant believe my fricking eyes!

posted 3 months ago

dude did you hear about the interview with Rob Moore? So not only was the original plan to remove tenz and have dapr in (which is fine ig), but in Brazil, when they knew they didnt have enough pracc time, Rob said he asked the team if they wanted to do a bootcamp there and apparently someone declined and he was really making it sound like it was sykko

posted 3 months ago

yea it would be more of a traditional game of jett, where I still favor them over Lev just because I doubt the game would be a blowout from Lev or EG, but when it matters the most I think Lev is slightly more likely to crumble, pretty 50é50 though icl

posted 3 months ago

more like a sykko double combo

posted 3 months ago

sports and esports isnt always about being the best team for 24 rounds, or 2 months, its all decided by who the can be the best in the 1 second that counts the most

posted 3 months ago

Hard to say tbh, I think EG wins on ascent, icebox and split pretty much guaranteed, and then lets say they antistrat levs best map (bind) and breeze is the only map levs got left, since lotus has been a no show from both. Ascent could go both ways, but if EG can beat Loud, I see no reason why they cannot beat a standard comp tbh

posted 3 months ago

Plus zellsis midrounds a really good amount

posted 3 months ago

Right now EG play better as a team, and considering theyve got potter, I think theyd win, though I get your point, would have been fun to see possible games

posted 3 months ago

EG beats both Lev and 100T rn imo

posted 3 months ago

That was a comp diff, NRG doesnt have enough util to push past smokes and only had one option, which is to fight in front of site, as in site its impossible, and Sen knew that, which is why unlike the G2 games, they were far more aggressive on defense to not let NRG set up. You cannot just not play A and go B every round like that will work anyways lol

Incredible commentary, loved whenever he criticized players even though he is friends with many of them and again great game knowledge
