The biggest issue with GC in val is that there are no real ways to directly compare them with T2. No big events where teams from those 2 leagues compete, and thats why most players get stuck in a spot where even if theyre good in GC, they wont get picked up because they aren't "T2 Proven" and because of how shit T2/T1 financially is, orgs dont want to take risks and would much rather play safe, which makes it harder for these players to get picked up.

The player swap isnt a duelist into flex, its an aggressive player into flex. The modern sentinel meta also requires aggressive sentinels, not afraid to take fights, which is why G2 put leaf on kj and had icy come in as duelist. The meta as a whole is becoming more aggressive and that slow passive style gets punished by agents like gekko and teams that actively re clear during defense.
astra is probably the best pick for solo smokes for any post plant heavy maps. Astra has seen usage on maps like bind, haven, lotus, abyss, split, the maps where once you get the plant down, you dont have to really fight too much, just delay a lot, but because the current meta is heavy into fighting, omen is picked more. Astra haven is also more limited than an omen, or the old viper double smokes imo

Well I completely disagree, c0m was lifting his weight on EG, Kinggg has consistently been one of Americas best performers in terms of mechanics, Tex was by far the second best player on the team after aspas despite a role swap and mazino is the only one I dont rate as high. Prioritizing aspas seems like a bandaid fix to levs issues, but for championships you need more than a bandaid, and in my eyes you have to create a system where every player individually is supported and allowed to frag really well.
I dont think the Lev guys would appreciate being told theyre deadweight so aspas has to prioritize himself, and I doubt aspas would ever say that either. Irrespective of it all, Lev are a super team who play at a high level, and if aspas still cant trust his teammates to frag and clutch, then I think it falls more on him than anything. Plus, I think the issue is more with how aspas heavy the team is, like oxy with c9, they focus a lot on making sure aspas is doing well and creating chances where he can excel, this leads to situations where they save for aspas, or have aspas save and not do a risky play just so he can keep a rifle next round.

KPR would include OTs, 24 rounds doesnt include OTs, so im pretty sure you wouldnt use the KPR ratio for the conversion
Why would you include non playoff teams when its clear that their stats will either be really high or really low? Also the 24 round limit is to cap OT, otherwise it makes sense for teams that played a lot of OTs to have more or less kills lmao
