It means partnership team selection “founders and ascension” 1.0 is planned until 2028. All VCT players will be free agent by end of 2028 and new 10 permanent teams will be selected as partnership 2.0 in 2029. What got altered was the amount of ascension teams promoted to VCT. 2 teams was supposed to be promoted after 2 season in 2025 making 14 teams in VCT. New rule prevented it instead only having 12 teams till 2028. That’s why acend CEO got upset and disband the valo roster.

When partnership first announced, the ascension amount of slots going up to VCT 11 teams for 2024 12 teams for 2025 etc. The roadmap of the partnership was planned till 2028. Now ascension teams no longer have 2 year of staying in VCT with introduction of relegation making playoff etc.

Depends what you use it for. I use insta mainly to look at random restaurants that are in my city + watch recommended random animal videos. TikTok is more creator focused and I cba making more accounts on other platform.

• Tier 1.5 tournament can go in offseason, perfect time for scouting and picked up players to tier 1 teams.
• G2 fought their way in VCT Americas and they deserve to make it to champs, 1 spot from tier 2 tournament making it to champs to “spice things up” is completely different.
• Mith NRG in tier 1.5 Turney is good for off-season. Mith players show their promise against T1 teams and great for NRG to showcase their signing in offseason tournament. Keep it off-season.

• its not 2031, from the original partnership plan that valorant already "altered", 2028 will be the final year of partnership 1.0 meaning RIOT will/already considering team selection 2.0 in 2027. If its gonna be another 6/7 year plan, its gonna 2033/34.

India in SA is fine, but putting them against SEA/EA teams in ascension is 1 step too much, would benefit to be in the "west asia" scene first before making step in Pacific Ascension

this one is tough cause geographical location, early in 2021 OCE was allocated in NA + US VISA issue in LCQ (i think). Team PWR was rejected in initial partnership application cause they never field a valorant team. In 2026 closer to 2027/28 partnership 2.0 selection OCE could get a VCT slot if region develop enough in upcoming years.

Vietnam

Only fancy united and Rapid Lofi, but again going up against entire Asia for 1 slot in ascension is tough.

Germany

Only CGN Esports..... G2 is well....

North America and China wouldn't run into VISA issues if ascended, but with extended season calendar, could see South Americans with visa issues. Leo Faria said before ascension venue can't be in NA cause BR ascension team would need 6 months of VISA for competition work travel to US.

Jemkin and Xccurate needed 3 months to get their VISA to Korea. 2023 GE, SKrossi and LF needed 7 months wait visa before they can enter korea for split 1 to play their 1st game in April.

KR tier 2 teams benefit heavily because they can scrim VCT teams with low ping with some KR players can even branch out to JP team for more opportunity as well, so they have more advantage geographically. APAC have the population and diversity, so the whole 1 country = 1 region is just a matter of "survival of the fittest" to get to Tier 1.

• Keep North Africa to EU and have ME and 'Central Asia' (kazakhstan) integrate to pacific.
• Merge Central Asia, Middle East and South Asia as "West Asia" to build a competitive region in which all 3 can use to develop talent.

• Giving tier 2 teams opportunity in champs = disrespecting every single teams in VCT that fail to qualify to champs, top tier 2 teams belong in ascension and the best deserve to be in Tier 1.
• Quality > Quantity. Go and make 113 page report about it if you disagree.

disagree make champs 24 teams. What the point making top 3 in regular season when 6th place team can qual and make champs? More teams in champs gonna make top placement less earnings and decrease of high quality valorant with more glue. Top teams in regular season will literally stop trying cause they already qual to champs. This gonna increase more neglectful attitude towards the game and less effort.

ppl complain about teams not playing enough games, so China makes one for their region.

100T on the other hand, make masters Shanghai but fumbled on stage 2 americas playoffs.

Zikz and boostio with whole EG rebuilding might seems like a good idea, but if nadeshot is that upset he should make the roster built entirely on result oriented like T1. T1 only made masters shanghai in 2024 but made to all internationals in 2023. With huge gap before stage 1 starts, there's time to trial players. Boostio isn't fragging and also have content issue in the past, getting rossy would be a good idea. Fragging IGL (flash initiator) to replace boostio, he's PR trained and a content person that fits 100T. 100T staff and working environment could use positive result based performance and rossy achieve red bull homeground top 2 in C9 environment.

• top korean players (pros) all play asia server benefit in JP/HK lobby meeting VCT pros in same.
• some of the korean local players (not pros in pc bang etc) that play in KR server can develop cause server players comms in korean. Being top immortal/radiant in KR server they can make an asia server account (since they have the skills) should they choose (and if they comfortable with english or multi language comms) and can improve by not just playing on KR server and eventually work their way to immortal/radiant lobby meet VCT pros to self improve.

TLDR; KR regional location and client server location based on skills is good to improve skills
