The only other option was to join JP team, C9 Korea disband making NA team and Bazzi/Munchkin make internationals by joining Crazy Raccoon & Northeption Meteor.

Partnership is good for KR cause they have more opportunity to compete in international by competing straight with SEA teams in Pacific, not just with VS/DRX for measly 1 slot.

Now NRG, They made 0 internationals in 2024, sign 2 tier 2 players and a tier 2 coaches and ppl hype this up S tier winning trophies for whatever reason. Tldr; NRG is not a top team and shouldn’t be considered a top team because they’re at rebuilding phase and needs time. T2 coach bonkar and T2 players verno and mada needs to adapt to tough competition In tier 1.

NRG didn’t qual to internationals…. Just put them down to B, they can earn their way back to A in Split 1.

It’s not even idol culture, it’s more towards “family company” culture. PRX problem is that they’re too comfortable to the point they’re not ambitious anymore. Idol culture is more towards the fans, but this is players/coach/management/org side issue.
