If you go watch any other regional stream they're all bias to some degree as. But this is the official Valorant channel, speaking the most internationally accepted language, with castors brought from different regions to cast on this stream, with the 'analysis desk', etc. so they're, at least in my opinion, supposed to be the most neutral and unbiased casting for viewers who may be watching from all corners of the globe.

I'd rather move to Canada tho, where's the best place to live there?

I mean, all the language streams have their castors and analyzers of the gameplay, but this is the official Valorant stream, speaking the most internationally accepted language, with castors brought from different regions to cast on this stream, with the 'analysis desk' at the actual event, etc. They should be the least bias and neutral option for casual viewers to enjoy.

no it's the main Valorant stream for anyone watching the event. like there's no EU stream, there are streams targeted for different countries/regions but this one is the main one with the analyst desk, etc.

posted about 3 years ago

yes ik. that doesn't change the fact though that the main channel is exhibiting tons of bias

Of course, if you go watch any other regional stream they're all bias to some degree as well. edit: yeesh why did this get 40+ upvotes?

When Optic gets an early pick or something they'll literally shout "Nice!"
When Xerxia are doing well, they just dully relay the information to viewers, but when Optic do well they're hyped up and their whole demeanor and tone is different.

idk how American's aren't even ashamed if that's their 'culture'

exactly, not merging them with a stronger region to get carried by Koreans

posted about 3 years ago

that's not possible for the reason I just stated above

posted about 3 years ago

yup. yet riot isn't doing that and will never do that. They need big regions with high viewership and investment like jp to have some international presence to keep them from losing interest, not merging them with a strong region and never having representatives.

posted about 3 years ago

by that logic, just give emea half the spots and don't give brazil or jp any

posted about 3 years ago

Kr + Jp is a bad idea
Every good team will just be the all korean teams and will ruin interest among the japanese

Kekw you're seriously thinking EU is comparable to China or Kr?
Also T1 beat EDG in groups and was first seed KEKWWW so by that logic T1 > EDG > G2

keyd lost to champs winners, check your facts
vikings close but no cigar
drx actually beat champs winners LUL and pretty convincingly too

No Koreans are going around hyping DRX to win the whole thing unlike some others I see. Brazil along with Japan have far and away been the worst performing regions. At least Japan doesn't hype their teams up to the moon and send death threats trying to play victim after caught using exploits.
