That’s the sane thing to do xD
But with NRG’s loss against EG… man I’m still copping (even tho it was a 1-2 loss, which I’m not sure it ruins the whole maths)

I just saw on Twitter/X a post by willminder explaining how SEN can make playoffs, so if anyone is interested on a more simple explanation you can check it out
I’m surprised I understood it all, excelent work on explaining that mess
Thanks a lot! Time to sniff illegal amounts of copium :’)
Genuine question because I haven’t had time to do the whole math: are SEN completely out of playoffs? Like, isn’t there 1 single scenario in which they make it? Perhaps with some specific results from other teams
johnqt just lacks the amount of experience compared to saadhak, but when saadhak had the amount of experience that john has right now I don't think he was doing as well as john is doing now. It's actually insane what this guy has been building
TL:DR - it's still a bit early to predict who's exactly making it to playoffs, there's way too many possibilities, specially with map differential
I'm not sure because SEN and NRG still have 3 games to play and C9 has 2. If those 3 win all their remaining games, they'll be 5-1, while if KRU ONLY win the LOUD game, they'll be 4-2. Of course they have a really high chance of winning their other games, after the LOUD one, but beating LOUD won't be enough if the others I mention win their games
EDIT: I went to check KRU's upcoming games and I realised they actually don't have such a high chance, I didn't realise they were against LEV and 100T :/ but there's still a chance, just not so high
NRG's team is new, still not 100% synced with each other and that showed during kick off. You're talking like the season's over and they didn't qualify to any event, and you can't actually think a team with 5 champions will have a worse year than 3/5 of an Optic core, a streamer and a FPX/NaVi outsider
I don't think NRG would qualify at this time. They have the firepower, for sure, but it's a whole new team and the SEN game showed how out of sync they're with each other. However, when LOUD face NRG during the Americas split, I think NRG will take the win
2023 teams? No doubt. 2024 I can't be so sure, not after seeing the SEN and GenG games, but it's just my opinion :)
NRG would frag their way through an FPX game and you can't be actually comparing a roster with 5 champs with the 2023 roster. Not to say they are the perfect team but the 2023 and 2024 rosters are not comparable at all
You can't be seriously using 2023 mibr score to justify your take xD
Not someone in particular, I just think he's not good enough to be on VCT and the fact that he's playing in one of the best teams Valorant ever had (historically speaking) is overrating him
Did not age particularly well
I can't be the only one thinking qck's overrated

predictable

anyone who watched GenG playing kick off knew how it would end up
But LOUD's road to Tokyo wasn't that hard, there were little to none conclusions you could make of their Americas run (in my opinion of course. I didn't think just cause they beat NRG they would be able to beat FNATIC or EG).
On the other hand, SEN beat 2 to 3 teams people weren't exactly expecting them to beat, and the teams going to Madrid are nothing amazing (while LOUD had to deal with super FNATIC, EG, PRX, who were thriving during Tokyo). I have a hard time trying to imagine how SEN beat LOUD, NRG and Lev and don't beat teams like TH or FPX
Fair enough, I just don't see how you predict a flop after beating some of the best teams in the world, but it's your opinion and I respect it
I actually believe KC has potential to make it through this first round.
LOUD will cook on 1 map, I don't believe in a clean sweep by GenG, but a 2-1 for sure
I can't fathom PRX losing to EDG, I know there's a chance but I just don't feel it
SEN - TH is pretty straight forward, but I feel like it won't be as easy as people are painting it
Insonsistent during the past years? Yes. But SEN just cleaned Americas, including the all mighty super teams like LOUD, NRG and Lev. Last time SEN beat super teams was Iceland 2021 and it was Fnatic and they ended up winning (if you consider that Fnatic itteration a "super team"). The flair might make this comment biased but kickoff performance makes it impossible to actually think that the most likely scenario for SEN in Madrid is a flop
TH are decent, apart from FPX I don't actually think any team should be underestimated. Not saying there's no chance of an easy 2-0, but there's also a chance TH give a hard time to SEN, just like GenG can actually upset LOUD
GenG beat LOUD 2-1, hard fought
I can see GenG winning, not an easy 2-0 tho, more of a really hard fought 2-1. I think people are underestimating GenG
Hot take: GenG 2-1 LOUD and maybe an EDG upset, but not so sure about that one
I once watched a draw, but it was so so long ago, like 2021 or something, never understood why they never streamed one again
Is there any info about when will the draw happen?
If SEN manage to stick split and sunset on the map pool like they did with NRG, I think they can pull this one off. Specially if LOUD allow another good map for SEN like bind to be played
I get what you're saying. And that 2-1 prediction is (unfortunatelly as a sen fan) pretty on point, however I think there's a slight chance the map pool helps SEN if somehow they manage to put split and sunset in there (highly unlikely, I know, hopium at its max)
Do you guys think SEN can cook something on split in order to avoid an (really likely) antistrat by NRG? They played it so much, there are so many VODs, Chet will review it endlessly
Do you guys really think SEN could've been hiding strats for maps like Icebox by permabanning it? While having a ton of matches to prepare and practice during the kickoff
MIBR are actually decent tho, comparing to last year. However I think with tier 1 experience G2 will improve their game
That's a bold assumption xD lots of hopium in your veins, love it
Rob Moore just retweeted Sick’s tweet saying he’s receiving care
this didn't age that well I guess
