Bruh if the team was told that they were gonna get kicked out 30 minutes before the post, this is fked by Riot. At least give them time to find new teams or smthing :/

There are like so many more t1 teams that don't deserve their t1 spot. Bleed is new AND lost their star duelist when they ascended. Give them some time yknow
allegedly, free1ing was trialing for bleed and his performance was top notch in vct china. They'll be looking for a flex, not another sentinel player.
Well yeah, I'm predicting a roster with that in mind.
allegedly, jinggg/something are playing sentinels. I would not be shocked if they do what trace does if the roster does stay together. That or they say fuck all and put jinggg on full time duelist
they'll probably end up with something like:
sultan - smokes
grumble - senti
lmemore - initiator (I have faith from when he absolutely shit on bleed)
valydn - flex?
saya - duelist
tbf most of the trials are decent. Sultan, Valdyn, grumble, tomazy, kristal, and, hell, lear and saya are pretty good. They're probably just keeping their horizons open tbh. Like Derrek from 100t looked bad but looked cracked af on EG
I mean, they are rumors for a reason. Maybe it was actually in talks, but it never actually came into fruition. Also, he was new to the thing and people probably fed him a lot of false information, but he's getting better imo
Surely, they pick up some of Riddle's players. +yatsuka +joxjo instead of +art +jinboong would go hard
They pioneer "side dependent comps." Essentially, if they start on defense, they whip out the 3 senti, 1 controller, yoru comp. If they start on attack, they get fked.
tbf he averaged 1.0 rating back when he played on GE. His main issue is that he is VERY momentum based. He either runs over other teams or gets run over.
Pearl:
asuna - yoru
cryo - jett
skuba - astra
eeiu - Sova/Skye/gekko
boostio - kj
Ascent -
Asuna - yoru
cryo - chamber/jett
skuba - omen
eeiu - sova
boostio - kj
Haven -
Asuna - yoru/neon
cryo - chamber/jett
skuba - omen
eeiu - Sova/skye
boostio - cypher
split -
Asuna - raze/kayo/yoru (idk how'd yoru would work without anyone on raze, but ig Jett yoru is a play???)
cryo - jett/gekko/sage
skuba - omen
eeiu - skye/fade
boostio - cypher
Abyss
Asuna - yoru
cryo - jett
skuba - astra
eeiu - sova
boostio - cypher
sunset
Asuna - yoru/neon
cryo - Jett/gekko
skuba - omen
eeiu - sova
boostio - cypher
bind
Asuna - yoru/raze
cryo - chamber
skuba - omen/brim
eeiu - fade
boostio - viper/cypher
The idea behind each comp is to replace flash agents such as kayo or breach with yoru since yoru has similar roles to those two particular agents. However, there are a lot of comps that do struggle due to cryo lacking that ability to play raze tbh. I also tried putting cryo on either chamber or Jett on as many maps as I can, since he excels at those agents and chamber did get buffed recently. I could explain the deeper thought process as to why I chose each particular agent as I did, but I am sleep deprived af rn.
imo it's opportunity cost. As much as people like to dunk on Asuna for his weird aiming style and whatnot, he is actually surprisingly above average (with a 1.01 rating). He has one of the best kayos in NA, although people don't like to admit that. Assuming he gets paid a pretty average amount, there is little reason to risk dropping him. I think bang chose to leave for sen, stellar and Derrek looked pretty iffy during the 2023 season, and cryo was a clear upgrade to will, meanwhile Asuna probably hasn't shown signs of wanting to leave yet and he has played pretty decently across most if not all of the seasons + he probably performs in scrims.
This is probably overcooking but have curry play until reduxx can play. You're paying curry for a reason smh
He mentioned Japan I think, or at least that is what he put on his twitter. Idk where he would go though
Yeah, but they could do it for fun or something.
idk they're probably gonna pull rank demons out or they're gonna run It back one last time (-v1c, maybe +aproto/thief)
they be looking like me out here, aint very good xD
I was checking randomly, and it is actually surprisingly spread out in terms of who is expecting who to win.
Johnqt has exactly one game on omen, nismo has played 1 cypher game, and double duelist isn't really meta.
idk where rocketbullets got his info, but allegedly reduxx is going to be the other stand-in.
I'm looking at these spreadsheets and they were lowkey cooking, poor guy.
I remember him hitting a crazy flick against TH recently. I think he just doesn’t go for clips tbh.
Zander was only igling because nitro left. He’ll be fine relinquishing the igl role as he never was meant to play it in the first place.
I think that's because icy is new to t1 in general, compared to qck which has like 2 years of experience. Both are overhated af tho
If it isn't lan, they can probably just ask some ranked demons to stand in. Also, there could just run it back since they are just restricted f/a and that doesn't mean they have to leave the roster I guess
The game has its flaws, but I think people look at the game through a very biased perspective. Every game has its flaws, but people overplay Val's flaws by a lot. Like many of the criticisms are pretty unfounded. For example, when people complain about the run and gun or the shotguns in this game, they often compare it to CS. In CS, there is the xm shotgun and the entire pistol/smg meta is run and gunning, and it's not like that people don't hit running headshots in CS. The cheating problem in this game is pretty much non-existent as well (minus stream sniping but that's common everywhere). At least, we can play ranked here without any 3rd party softwares yknow. It is not the best game, but it is at the very least good imo
I am a big pacific believer, so I honestly think that enerii could go toe to toe with flor. Also, my point was not that their duelists are just as good as flor, but rather their gc duelists are good enough to not merit using an import on flor.
for some reason, I put forsaken on yoru nearly every map lmao
I like it, but I’m not a believer in the deadlock tbh. I would prefer:
Something- jett
Forsaken - yoru
Davai - sova
Mindfreak - omen
Jinggg - kj
I think most people think she could hold her own, but the question is if she can do well imo. Personally, I think if she got signed by a t1 team, she would be placed on a senti/initiator role because there are just so many cracked duelists right now in t1 that it wouldn’t really justify flor replacing them. Like I can’t really think of a NA team where ANY player would replace a duelist.
Then, that brings the issue of importing. While other regions could use a duelist, I actually think that their own GC duelists are just as good as flor anyway, so no need to use an import on flor. The only regions where we might see flor as a duelist is EMEA or CN imo, but even then I doubt talent scouts there are looking for NA GC talent of all talents.
However, I do think she could fry in T2.
Tldr; flor is good but not good enough to merit a T1 duelist position, due to the oversaturation of duelists in T1, yet.
Lowkry Chichoo. Imagine how tilting it is to get shit on by a guy named after a train noise. Shit would give me nightmares.
I can already imagine the comps
Ah, I wouldn’t be shocked if a GC player gets picked up at some point then.
Something they might be looking into is the trace strat, but idk if that’s actually going to happen (since I saw both jinggg and something playing sentinels). This would mean they could spec into more meta comps (or even crazier ones tbh)
I wonder, do gc teams scrim with t1 teams? I feel like the best of them should be scrimming against t1 teams. Sure, they might lose (a lot) initially, but over time they’ll get much better compared to their competition, leading to an increasingly competitive GC scene.
I mean, it's for the same reason regular sports are a thing. I doubt football was immediately profitable either but look at it now.
Btw, I just realized flipzider dropped the most insane amount of kills I've ever seen an igl drop ever (0). No wonder bro got dropped midway through the season lmao
It's icebox. The meta is solo viper.
Meta being:
viper
sova
kj
jett
gekko
SPG, Riddle Order, and Full sense are favorites to win and DSG is the dark horse.
Remember when he dropped 30 kills in a 18 round map. I think if a team properly utilizes him, he could be great (Although it was against bleed)
skrossi would be a decent sentinel tbh. Idk why they put him on gekko when he gets pretty much no assists on him (which is something you need to do when you are the main flash for the team). It's not like this is a one-off issue either; he gets like 3-4 assists per game on gekko.
I'm a bit iffy on natank, but otherwise this roster could fry
This could be an idea, but then a bunch of cis players currently in emea would be up in arms.
Our best team is a bunch of chokers (-yesican because he’s the goat but his team chokes), so these frauds fluked their way to ascension unfortunately. VN was so much better in 2023 tbh.
I would like to see that, but I need a source on that because I haven’t heard such a rumor
