Dude had one bad performance in Shanghai grands and decided that he never wanted to feel like he let down his team ever again
Ewc maybe, but I pray that it carries over to stage 2
G2 feels like they will always be good but not quite enough to win a trophy without tejo
Sen feel really inconsistent
C9 and 100t have jailed cryo and eeiu and OXY and Vic respectively
We might not win a trophy ever again
Think he just needed to get settled in, they were probably also forcing him to play more like sacy since they hadn’t adapted him into their system yet
He was feeding them energy, cause he thought bang and Zekken had him for this one, silly mistake
Also lukxo played like 4 matches he needs to continue his performance stage 2
I hate that I know the answer
Omen plays with the team on icebox, while viper is usually the lurk player due to her b wall and mid orb (and she anchors b on def)
I upvoted you and downvoted you on my alt prove you wrong
Tbf, what is the point of being able to upvote your own post?
Clove and Reyna should be one and two honestly, but obv u just don’t like smokes
Which pro players barely play the game other than pro/scrims? Leaf has to be up there he is level 225 and barely has 1k hours in total since E1A1
I kinda like it tbh, no idea why people hate it so much
I do wish valorant had some more colorful or at least vibrant maps though the last few maps have just been very gray/monotone (pearl, abyss, corrode)
Phoenix skye and sage aren’t meta, but I’m sure he would be flexible enough to adapt
Mini boo got those stats playing against the best players itw at international events while governor had short tier 1 stints
Not comparable
Imagine if Europe lost chronicle, Alfajer, derke, and boaster.
It’s not being held in Berlin though, it’s in Paris. Surely the admin/tournament organizers are different
Started in 2023 with pancada and sacy leaving but really happened in 2024-early 2025. Sacy (goat init), saadhak (goat igl), less (goat sentinel), Aspas (goat duelist) all were no longer in Brazilian teams. Imagine if NA lost leaf, narrate, Zekken, valyn; g2 and sen would both be crippled and NA would have no good teams. Now that Aspas is back mibr are good, but saadhak and less left for eu and sacy retired, so the other teams are struggling.
On the bright side, I think sato, luxko, and spikezin are very talented and i am excited to see them. Just wish if sato was in loud tho :(
Johnqt is calling the start rounds. As the lurker, zellsis can then call the midround pivot/rotate off the space and information that he gets. You can literally hear him in the voice comm videos being vocal.
Yeah dudes an absolute beast Ngl just needs a slightly more consistent team
Bro Johnqt is the igl. Zellsis the sentinels secondary igl, and most secondary IGLs midround; obviously, igl and literally everyone else on the team also can make midround calls. Iirc zellsis was complaining that it’s harder to midround now that he is senti, but I believe he is still midrounding.
Unless something changed zellsis has always midrounded, including on sentinel, especially since sacy left.
Agreed, but I don’t think it’s as simple dropping your midrounder who is also a flexible player without having a clear upgrade in mind. Sen also have issues unrelated to fragging (struggling to trade at times, weird comps on some maps)
Am I tripping but kumi has literally one tier 2 match, you gotta give him time to see what he actually can do
Blahst as well doesn’t have a lot of tier 2 matches played, they got their stats against tier 3 players
Mada was absolutely unbelievable in t2, literally topped every stat metric, ofc he’s gonna translate well to t1. Can you find someone like that in zellsis’s role to replace him?
It is speculation, but it’s speculation based on past transfers of t2 player to t1
Also aimwise means Jack shit, aim wise doesn’t even mean they will frag better than zellsis. The only person that comes to mind is seven and I don’t know how much of an upgrade he actually is
I hate to be a stats Andy but the dude had incredibly mid t2 stats. How was he ever gonna start playing well against harder competition?
Lmfao what are you talking about
He’s either incredibly mid or the best player itw match to match
Been watching this guy since 2021 btw
Nah but there is a largeeee gap between t2 and t1, especially since m80/guard/mxm/oxg players left t2. You’d need to be a pretty stand out sentinel in t2 to actually be better than zellsis in t1.
DRX had so much aura in champs 2023/2022
Also kind of in lock-in
That means he’s doing the bare minimum. Calling him a good person for not literally restricting the freedom and potential of a player on his academy roster is kinda normalizing when orgs do stupid shit like this and contract jail their players, imo.
Now that you bring it up it is incredibly boring to watch
“Rob is a good person because he didn’t trap an academy player and put him in contract jail without letting him get a tier 1 opportunity”
Are you more used to one of the two dpis?
Champs might end up being cinema, if your ever watched any KC x event
Never really thought of them as having weak mental or being chokers before Toronto
Let’s not pretend that Zekken is consistent either
Feel like John gets so many more impactful kills on senti than init
Jqt senti (viper is kinda senti) and Zekken duelist and sen win cleanly
2-1 BLG, 2-0 SEN, 2-0 TH, 2-1 GENG
I’m honestly not confident with any of these picks tbh. I think heretics will win though cause rrq have very shaky form
Alfa was bigger in the most important moment and your referring to literally one round in a map where derke was actually the one having the most impact. Don’t get me wrong, Alfa turning up was prolly the biggest reason why the won icebox but he was flat the entire first half and they wouldn’t have gone down 11-3 if he was shooting in the first place. I think Alfajer had the higher peak of the two, and I think Leo does get overinflated stats but he’s by far more consistent and the more reliable of the two. Outside of Emea league finals in 2023, he tends to also be the bigger game player of the two.
I think asuna has the same kind of smarts as angel
