The upper bracket should have some advantage. No one had a problem with it when LOUD had it and won champs, 2/4 maps were close but LOUD still won and was considered to be the best. I will keep saying regions mean nothing, but EMEA can talk the most for now since they have won the most and are currently on top. The only ones coping rn are NA, we will see how it is once Champions is over. I hope APAC wins so then no one can say anything about NA or EMEA.

A battle between either one of EG, FUT, and T1 would go off, all three teams have similar stories, I think fut is a bit better than the others but anything can happen (idc about Americas vs EMEA or APAC)

I wouldn't really call single elim a show format, it's brutal yes, but the winning team still had to win 5 in a row and 2 bo5s to come out on top and it shows who the best at adapting to a new meta. If the people who created the game and main circuit count it as a major then it is one.
Idrc who wins, I just like seeing upsets but I know it can be annoying when people keep bringing up past events but let them talk, whatever team you like can win the next one and it can be your turn.
Something being enjoyable is subjective, but I still think the only time Pearl was fun to watch was when PRX played it at champs 22 after that it just became a spam fest, that map has got to go.

Riot does consider it a major, A lot of pros do as well. Also if you're gonna say lock-in does not count because it was for show, then by that logic, you also should not count masters since it's a glorified qualifier for champs.

None of the teams they lost to are bad teams, all 5 of them are respectable teams, though idk how they won 4 in a row and then proceeded to lose 5 in a row.
