Yeah I mean honestly I’ve always liked MikesHD as assistant/analyst but I don’t think he suits the Head Coach role. Sean leaving has left such a large hole in our structure and Stellars IGLing is looking terrible.

Maybe on the next one bud.

I mean half time Ardis was talking in that video segment that they were going to start playing and taking more risks, guess it did pay off because he’s right, they definitely took more risks and crashies 100% was taking more risks. NRG also realise crashies was playing a really good map on Fracture and kind of let him have his moments where he just walked out or ran in kinda thing.

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah I remember reading somewhere when it was announced LOUD were dropping him that he was more a less a really good mental coach, the actual strating and anti-strating actually came from Saadhak and others, I could be wrong though but I do remember reading it somewhere.

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah honestly I only caught the Fracture game but Jesus Christ did FNS and Chet anti strat the shit out of them. 100T looked so stale on Fracture and just had zero adaptations. NRG had the read every round. A lot of their micro game was poor. 3 solo peaking 1 after the other giving Victor a 3K like that? Cmon

posted about 2 years ago

I think now that Sean is gone it’s really starting to show how much of an impact he had on stellar’s IGLing, I didn’t like the fact that they knew they were being countered on Fracture yet didn’t have any adaptations. Was legit just the same look from their VODs and NRG knew what to do

Feels bad for EG fans seeing that paycheck stealer c0m walk out every week.

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah 95x is an insane team, I like watching NERD but I feel like 95x has a higher chance.

posted about 2 years ago

Her anti-stratting is really good, I think an analysis role would suit her perfectly, but as a Head Coach she just isn’t getting the results and you’re right, NA has such a deep pool of talent, this current EG roster just seems like a joke.

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah but she has a say to the org on who they should sign and what not, She's still somewhat to blame for poor performance overall. In saying that though. Look at C9's pick ups in runi & Jakee, runi was bottom tier 2 talent and Jakee was collegiate and they're both performing at a Tier1 level. hardly much of an excuse. Even Demon1 who was a open try-outs player is already playing better than some of his teammates who have been playing Tier 1 Valorant longer...

posted about 2 years ago

I've always said it never made sense to me why they kept c0m in the first place, Then benching BcJ? like you're right, she should absolutely understand how to structure a team. c0m seems like such a liability at this point.

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah I agree her anti-stratting is pretty top tier, The way she anti-stratted LOUD on Split was insane.

posted about 2 years ago

Looking like its Exalt who's calling which makes sense, I feel like Exalt with more of a chance could actually evolve into a pretty good IGL.

Potter has been the coach since 2021 and had ZERO results. Any other coach would have been dropped by now yet EG kept her HOPING something would change but I think they're starting to realise nothing will change. They've had improvements but not enough to win and close out games and be where they should be. Potter absolutely deserves the criticism as any other coach would be dealt with the same. I'm not sure why people are so scared to call her out? She just aint up to the job, nothing wrong with that.

posted about 2 years ago

Honestly would love to see EG pick him up as assistant coach when they do the restructure in a months time. I don’t see Potter and that 10 man roster working. But seeing Steel as assistant coach then possibly move into Head Coach later down the line? I’m down for that.

Crazy how much KRU rely on keznit to have good games otherwise they just look useless. Poor guy has so much pressure on him every game.

posted about 2 years ago

Ofcourse it is, you're not getting the point I was making though, look back at that map, EG legit anti stratted the FUCK out of LOUD and looked good doing it. Yes anti-stratting is all apart of it same with map pool etc, but teams adapt on the fly, LOUD did not and EG had them read on that map hard.

posted about 2 years ago

Furia looks pretty good right now, tough call because both teams are REALLY looking strong. Something tells me C9 2-1 though, Jakee & runi look built for this team and Leaf back on perm duelist is proving its worth. Goes 3 maps for me and all maps look hella close

NRG v KRU, KRU looked so polished against 100T on Ascent literally flawless retakes/site takes, but I'm not sure what happened map 2 & 3, they just looked deflated, especially on Fracture they looked like they just gave up. NRG hasn't been looking too good either but I feel like the loss against C9 will be a wake up call for them 2-0 NRG.

posted about 2 years ago

To be fair, EG really anti-stratted LOUD so you can't really call them shit. I also strongly believe that LOUD under estimated EG going into that game hence the scoreline on Split. Haven is such a 50/50 map sometimes but damn did LOUD look good on Pearl.

posted about 2 years ago

100T looked really good, fought LEV with all they had, but LEV threw a lot of rounds to really dumb shit. Taco just dashing in not clearing corners on Haven hurt them a lot. Pearl was just weird, anyones map but bang had an insane 1v3 to close it.

posted about 2 years ago

Honestly that 1v2 Shyy won on haven where he just runs onto C site wide swings long and just kills 2 was the dumbest play I think I’ve ever seen but because he killed both and won the round people think it’s good. Far too many times LEV we’re just getting away with shit like that but that just props to them on their aim. I do worry that teams will notice a pattern with them and expose them.

posted about 2 years ago

Oh they’ll never drop SkRossi, there is no way they EVER drop SkRossi, GE fans would literally boycott that org, GE are stuck with him unless another team comes along to poach him or he wants to leave, pretty simple.

posted about 2 years ago

If we get 100T that played the way they did on Ascent against KRU then it’s 2-0 LEV but if we get the 100T we saw on Fracture against KRU I think it’s 2-1 100T. Regardless I feel like this series goes 2-1. LEV are a strong team but 100T CAN pull through if everyone turns up.

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah it’s bad because his role he’s played most of his valorant career has been that entry role duelist, now they’ve stuck him on a role he isn’t comfortable with and he looks awful. I genuinely cringe when I see him play KAYO, if GE gave him 1 series on Jett I guarantee peoples thoughts on him will change.

posted about 2 years ago

As a 100T fan I can tell you right now I was not a fan of that roster. I knew it wouldn’t work but I was more afraid we were going to be stuck with it for a whole year. Thank god that never happened. I think 100T are a good team currently, but I also think Sean leaving as head coach has really left a massive whole in their gameplay and it shows.

posted about 2 years ago

Go look at his VODs from when he was playing in OCE. WRONSKI is aggressive yes, but he’s a very well drilled player, he plays extremely well on that entry role with team support. This team has that support on Monyet and Ayrin, problem is GE would literally be boycotted if they dropped SkRossi, go look at SkRossi’s performance on Pearl again PRX, on Jett, he basically threw every chance he could.

posted about 2 years ago

This Sentinels line up would look so different if Chamber was still meta. TenZ perma Chamber whilst Zekken entry? Would actually look hella good

posted about 2 years ago

If you look at how he played in OCE on that entry duelist role you’ll realise that’s where his true value comes from. SkRossi is a good Jett but if you want that aggressive fire power entry duelist you won’t get that from SkRossi much anymore IMO, he ints too much and often is just over hyped. Sucks for WRONSKI but hopefully GE start winning some games regardless of their roster decisions.

posted about 2 years ago

As an OCE fan. We really aren’t up there, I’m sorry, but that also just comes down to poor opportunity from Riot too. Look at all other regions and what they’re doing then go take a look at the best team in OCE. No hate to OCE, I love this region but our lack of opportunities from Riot is what’s holding us back.

posted about 2 years ago

Sad thing is, WRONSKI is such a good Jett but GE would cop so much hate if they drop SkRossi so they force WRONSKI on a role he isn’t really suited for. Stick him as entry duelist and everyone will see he is a much better Jett than SkRossi

posted about 2 years ago

I agree this has to be something internal. I haven’t watched the VOD yet of the match earlier today but looking at the score line map 1 and 2 were extremely close, for you to drop the coach only 3 hours after coming close to beating one of the top 4 teams in the league? This smells of internal problems.

posted about 2 years ago

I think they can handle teams with decent coordination I just think they played super poorly all series against c9, they all just looked off, timings were off, calls were off, they looked so poor on Lotus.

posted about 2 years ago

Something seems up. If ShahZ is right then why wouldn’t Syyko and Kaplan just swap roles? Kaplan is a really good strategic coach having Syyko as the assistant could allow him to be more of a mental coach whilst Kaplan cooks.

posted about 2 years ago

Oh yeah 100% was just a complete off day for them all, only person who looked like they wanted to win was Derek. Shit happens though and teams go through rough patches. C9 played insanely well, the additions of runi and Jakee are really starting to pay off, leaf back on duelist looks soo good for them.

posted about 2 years ago

I always stood by this, no hate to the guy, but it made no sense to me why they made him IGL when he was only calling on attack for XSET.

posted about 2 years ago

Nah MikesHD is a good coach, as a 100T fan they honestly just looked so off all series. Only glimmer of hope I saw was them coming back on Ascent but honestly C9 played insane on Lotus and Ascent.

The minute I saw “he’s 23 and I’m recently 18 (turned 18 December last year) which I was already weirded out about” I just though “oh okay, but if you’re parents were 40 and 50 it would be okay? Shit is reaching mega hard.

posted about 2 years ago

Unless people come out with proof, I’m not surprised on girls saying “oh yeah he did this to me too” then it turns out they’re actually lying. I dunno, to be fair whole situation is blown waaay outta proportion and is clearly just trying to make George look bad as fuck, it’s reaching suuuper hard. She could have blocked him? Could have ask him to stop? No let’s just screen shot everything and look for clout over Twitter, legit all it is.

posted about 2 years ago

He’s 23 and she turned 18 in December, we’re currently in April. I don’t see it as horrible, questionable? Ehh, we don’t really bat an eyelid when we see a relationship where someone is 50 and the other is 40 and that’s a 10 year age difference. No offence to this girl but this straight up just looks like a clout grab and she’s hiding it behind the “I posted this for other girls to feel brave and speak up”

posted about 2 years ago

What I don't really understand is, any other team does bad and people go for the Coach and the roster but EG has been shit now for awhile and now everyones scared to call the coach out? I''m not saying this is 100% on Potter, this current roster just feels like it doesnt mesh well together.

posted about 2 years ago

Yep totally. All good, keep being a scoreboard Andy, K/D means heaps.

posted about 2 years ago

Again, You don't understand the role of an IGL or anything of that nature. It's all good though, Maybe you'll understand one day.

posted about 2 years ago

There is no point. I’ve had the same conversation with him before and he still doesn’t get it. Honestly I’m convinced at this point he doesn’t actually play or watch any Valorant but just sits on VLR and watches the scoreboard because in his mind everyone on the team has to drop 30 every match to be considered in his eyes “good” he doesn’t actually understand what an IGL or a Coach does he thinks they’re the same, again, pretty sure he doesn’t actually watch any Pro Valorant he just watches the scoreboard on VLR.

I don’t think anyone should take away the amazing efforts Shopify showed especially map 1 and 2. They were in complete control of the game and looked like the team who deserved to win, but they choked, and they choked hard, G2 dug deep and Shopify couldn’t stop the bleeding, honestly, those last 3 maps were an insane amount of outclass by G2 honestly, that was pure domination.

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah G2 looks insane right now, I thought C9W was good until I watched 1 match of G2 Gozen and I was blown away with how resilient they are and how mechanically good they all are, they have such a high level understanding of the game too, I think G2 takes it home but yeah, anything is possible.

posted about 2 years ago

I know people are trying to shit on you here but you’re completely right. Shopify day 1 looked ugly in their approach and super sloppy and readable but as this tourney has gone on they have improved a lot and proved a lot of us wrong. Full credit goes to them, they’re on a great run here and deserve the praise. Even Team Liquid is struggling to read them here. I truly believe this Shopify team is suuper momentum based and they’re riding the wave well.

posted about 2 years ago

I gave credit to Shopify what? Read my comment again. No way you think Shopify looked great day 1. They looked horrible and shaky but as this tournament has gone on they’ve improved ALOT. And I’m sorry but C9 is a miles better team than Shopify and previous results have shown that. C9W looked lost after almost losing Fracture. Shopify played both map 2 and 3 perfectly, I have nothing again Shopify I think they’ve been on a great run, but you cannot sit here after 1 result and say Shopify is better than C9, today? Yes absolutely but in the bigger picture, no.
