Yeah only difference is that the teams which used to be bad and seem like and entire tier difference to other regions no longer look bad. China ascension team look better than ever other ascension team bar Nongshim and look better than most other teams in general. BLG and DRG flat out look like solid teams and have more than caught up to FPX and who have always been considered one of the only “good” teams in china along with EDG. Who also managed insane games with 2 of the best teams from last year. And even nova look to be reaching that same level. With trace already showing they were there in champs. Edg can with it’s simply because they’re better.
Same was also said last year and then Edg won champs. Idc what people said last year right how trace looked better than every apac team and majority of all other teams in all other regions.
Second best Chinese team is between edg and trace. Both of which look significantly better than literally every apac team thus far all but 1 maybe 2 emea teams and all but 2 americas teams. To be the strongest region you need overall better teams.
NRG lost to C9… the only reason you have them that high is because of the off season where they had a extremely close game with BLG even then… difference is NRG somehow look worse and BLG look better. XLG nearly beat BLG and also nearly 2-0’d EDG I would confidently put KC over BLG or XLG. DRG have also been playing very well. Thus far I’d only put G2 Sen and Vitality confidently above those teams.
Elaborate. What are the flaws in FPX that a team like PRX T1 KC FUT and any americas teams that aren’t g2 and sen don’t also have.
Yes I think china has an argument for having the most contenders. BLG EDG DRG Trace FPX and XLG are all great teams. And I think nova is getting up there as well.
Yes. BLG look solid, DRG look solid, FPX looks solid. Nova has much room for improvement but still look good. And even teams below them aren’t “bad” apart from all gamers and tyloo
I don’t think 2G is better than all gamers or Tyloo. Tec at least look competent. Kru looks clueless Furia looks relatively clueless. And the rest of china genuinely just looks good maybe less so on jdg.

I didn’t think they were even mid apart from general util usage and flor I thought they were just flat out bad. So mid is a upgrade tbh.

Zeta looks mid against one of the better teams in apac currently. 2 3-13’s one of which was on one of your better maps is just bad. I can’t defend that and I had dfm making lower finals.
Zekken was more consistent than Derke last year. Don’t think he needs to bait either. Sentinels has more than enough fire power for him to just play the role.
As of now APAC is #1 for sure. They don’t look like they have a single “bad” team. Other than dfm but even dfm aren’t particularly playing “bad”

Holds sites well in a meta where cypher just got nerfed and tejo hard counters kj, gets info, and has a busted alt especially when used by people who actually know what they’re doing in the game.
That's the thing so far to me Americas have only gotten better teams. SEN is still solid. G2 still solid. 100T still solid. KRU looks worse but Loud looks significantly better, C9 looks significantly better and were already a pretty ok team, EG looks significantly better, Furia at least in the off season look significantly better. NRG underperformed against C9, but individually they still look decent. Especially S0m and Mada. The overall game play of America's just looks better as a collective than what I've seen of EMEA thus far.

Traded out their second best player. And rarely ever start off hot. The overall game play of americas to me from top to bottom has been better from Americas all I really see is vitality having unmatched individual talent above the americas teams.
