Being a SEN supporter I have to hate g2. But Trent is one of my favorite players since 2022
I think he’s getting exposed a bit what people thought is that jawgemo was like Derke kangkang and Aspas put him on any team and he’ll make them better but he’s not that type of duelist he’s a system duelist just like zekken is, EG’s system with him was perfect G2 doesn’t fit him. Either he’s changing the way they play or they’re changing the way he plays.
John shouldn’t be an initiator if he’s not willing to take a single step on site. And Zellsis mid rounding has declined this year so far. It it’s extremely obvious when they look super structured to start of a round and then start crumbling and hesitantly peeking things with no real team coordination. Nats 1v4 you can tell John didn’t want to swing there. Kamyk 1v4 you can tell Zellsis didn’t want to peak but Zekken was overheating and so Zellsis felt obligated to swing with him. And then n4rrate didn’t want to peak just spammed the box. But then zellsis peaks so n4rrate feels obligated to peak. It’s exactly how I play when my teammates are doing dumb things and I feel, well sure at the very least let’s do it together but because of my split second hesitation because I know it’s not the right play. Pro players making mistakes I would make is not a good thing…
Zellsis legit slammed the table in the same match but sighing is where we draw the line of a mentality problem…? This over emphasis on n4rrate mental as if it’s actually a major reason as to why the team is playing horribly is such and interesting angle to take just considering this was never even MENTIONED during his time on kc.
Stop making excuses for them the made one of the quickest changes to their team were one of the teams to play the most off season events and are the only NA team with an academy team. And none of them are rookies. In their map pool is limited to 2 maps one of which they’re still not even favored to win on against most teams.

Incredible team coordination. And mental. However also incredibly overrated. Suffer from choking and have what might be the most inconsistent duelist to entire vct.
Who cares EDG is going to farm every team.
If furia make any event this year without a roster change, I'll never watch vct again.

I'd agree if that wasn't manageable. DRX G2 VIT and EDG the likely 4 best teams itw have shown that is manageable. It's not that john doesn't look comfortable on tejo granted its not hard to look comfortable on tejo is a simple agent. But John is not aggressive enough to play a role thats meant to support and trade the entry fragger. Tejo enables that play style of just sitting back and saying zekken go kill once you've thrown util which is why in like 6 different rounds narrate and zekken are just dying on site and 3 of our players are just sitting main. There's no decision of holding or taking space which is typically a good idea, especially when you have someone who's proven to be great at lurking like John. There are no layers to this play style. And Nats abused that all throughout the game. Zekken N4rrate and sometimes bang just bailed them out of those situations. And since where literally just sitting main 90% of rounds, it limits the creativity and impact zellsis can have when mid-rounding. It's just one dimensional and sure there are other factors but john being in this role is for sure one of them.
N4rrate belongs on a role that allows him to play his own game not help someone else play theirs. Honestly don't hate how he plays on omen similar to tenz in style but just less reliant on util. Maybe I'm crazy but bang looked WAY more aggressive than this on 100T. Idk what's changed there.
Johns calling is fine. It's just that last year he had a team that wasn't hesitating and knew how to swing and wasn't treating their games like there were 5 Kangkang's on the opposing team.
The only thing cap is at fault for is putting John on initiator. Bang has never played this passive in his entire career and is whiffing 70% of his shots. He want's them to stop getting little bro'd and actually start swinging like a team with some of the best firepower, itw like they SHOULD be.
I think both are the case. Bang and n4rrate also look like they're just there. Unless someone deliberately calls like a double swing or something, they don't move like a team. (I still don't know what kaplan in thinking putting john on initiator is, looks incredibly uncomfortable on the role with just decent util). But half the time n4rrate is doing the same thing as zekken they're just running out onto the site and shooting people. While the other 3 just sit in main or bang lurks. It's a GIANT difference from the team with Tenz and Sacy to where at time teams legit just couldn't hold the site because of the util and scaling.
Even with EDG being the best team itw no. Americas overall is still better than china.
Unfortunate because he has incredible talent. Even though he was clearly ready to go, Tenz at least had passion for competing in some capacity and in general in just a quiet guy, so seeing him not as energetic was just in character.
I would too if 3 of my teammates were waiting like puppies in main to play the post plant. Going for Tenz to bang must be extreme whiplash.
N4rrate tilting is over blown he was fine on kc if its a problem then its a sen problem. Drop bang. Getting Tenz back would be a miracle and also expensive.
Why is he still playing? He's an amazing player, but it feels like since Madrid (maybe even during), he just doesn't want to be here at all. Looks like I'm watching a man do his job, not play a competitive esport. Zero passion. Maybe I'm just reading it wrong.
Aspas was getting diffed by zellsis hes washed.
N4rrate was one of the best players last year and still realistically hasn't reach his potential and I'm not overrating T2 players until they play in T1. Learned from dambi and verno
fuck G2. Get them out so we can see real valorant. Trent and friends shouldn't be here.

NRG has dead comms to begin with, no excitement over there. Reduxx keeps the comms live. NRG just didn't know how to handle him.
Gunter is an ac, Bonkar would be ac. And yes, Bonkar is a better coach.
No sub in 100T they deserve another chance over this fraud team.
We just lost 13-1 to LIQUID nowhere to go but up. And saying Zekken and N4rrate go kill isn't doing us any good.

Zekken and N4arrate go kill is what happened. And then their mental after the cluster fest of throws on abyss combined with Prime Nats lead to them getting stomped.
Wouldn't even be worried about edg beating vitality tbh. This tournament is theirs to lose

Clearly kaplan is a good coach because this team was EVEN WORSE than this prior to him joining. He's not the problem. Some of his decisions however yes very bad. Bonkar as AC then we are talking.
