Idk if this is true in those cases, but on certain spots (when theres elevated angles behind; e.g. Ascent bot mid) u have to smoke a bit outside, so theres no cheeky angle (on ascent bot mid, where u can look from the box into cat). On sunset u have elevated angles behind the chokes, so it might be correct in those cases to not smoke flush.
