in my mind, they never was in favorite position to win Champions, i was really expecting the 4 teams that i said (and i was rooting for KRU btw)

in Masters 3 2021, 100 Thieves and Vision Strikers beat them, they only beat Super Massive btw

in groups of Champions, they beat Envy (this OpTic), but Envy had a player with covid

in Playoffs, they was like a 5th team in list to win holy tournament (Gambit, Liquid, Cloud9 and Fnatic >>>> Acend at that point)

they won Champions and in the next year they got grouped in EMEA Challengers and bench 2 players after that (but idk the really reasons)

maybe fluke? maybe not? but seen this from this point of view...

and after that, almost was VCT Champions, but they got "fluked" by Acend (a team who is 3/5 player now btw)

you have a good point but one of the reasons of single elimination can be bad its because luck factor (take a team in bad day, take a good bracket, so on)

and i believe for a game like fps and Valorant, its important a double elimination bracket, if goes to a single i wanna a Bo5 playoffs

in Brazil, people from CS (Gaules and their follows) are making some criticism about Masters because of the format that put 4 teams in next stage of tournament relative to the rest

i understand the criticism but i understand more why riot make this format, we are playing a final of split, this isn't a Champions (the worlds/major)... it is a "playoffs with best challengers teams" and its fine give more points to best teams of biggest regions

mena teams cant scrim properly with EU teams bc ping and OCE teams have same problem to train against SEA teams

i believe SA and OCE should have direct slots and mena be more include in EMEA

more teams now (16 > 12)
only best teams across the season in multiples regions have a direct qualify
It has multiples last chance qualifiers across the world
has a bundle with skins (like Vandal + Karambit in 2021)
and more money in play

the problem isnt in BR/LATAM slots, i mean, it is a few slots in masters
