Monster: Straight up on of the most underrated anime ever fucking made. The only anime whose antagonist gave me fucking goosebumps. Many people want animations and beauty in anime and tend to ignore old anime but fucking trust me this anime is insane.
Vinland Saga: need i say more
Psycho Pass: Another very underrated anime, even though the focus of further seasons diverge from the MC, they do a good job in making sure the plot doesnt go stale and keeps every episosde top tier.
Mushoku tensei: This was a fresh fucking breath of air to the overly saturated trashy fucking isekai genre. The world building and general sense of scale and diversity this anime showcases is unparalleled. The only thing that comes even close to this is probably re:zero or SAO.
Skip and Loafer: I eat coming of age, slice of life, romantic subtexts anime for breakfast. And trust me a really good romance/slice of life anime is really hard to find. This anime is realisitc and has good subtext and hidden meanings. Makes you smile.
Insomniacs after school: Best love interest dynamic ever made 2nd to Horimiya.
Bocchi the rock: When animators have actual creative freedom and their passion is shown through their art. Beautiful anime and concept of switching artstyles.
Grave of Fireflies: First anime that has ever made me cry.
Paprika: Inception.
