I didn't look at group alpha, but imo group omega's scheduling is kind of unfair, some teams like xlg gets three 4 day breaks while a team like drg has one long 6 day break and then mostly 2 day breaks and one 3 day break. Like surely VCT China could make a more balanced and fair schedule.

Last year during stage 2 it was leaf, during champs it was vo0kashu and then I switched vo0kashu for alfajer, kickoff I had oxy, this stage I chose exit first week and then I replaced him with jerrwin.

Almost always plays 1 map extremely close to opponents, sometimes even takes a map or even pulls an extremely close win, but usually they end up losing close games.

Well they aren't a complete dogshit team so I have much higher expectations and standards for them than a certain wolves team

Currently its not even the comps that are really hurting them, although they aren't great, its the fact that they can't win a pistol, they are undisciplined and constantly solo peak or peak into the other team prefiring, and they don't clear like the most common spots for players to be. Like this team has the aim and player talent to be the best team in China, but it just feels so bad when they play like this.

I don't hate every team though, I just hate most EMEA teams apart from NAVI, FUT, and EF, and then I also only hate the absolute dumpsters of China who always get overrated for some reason.

I feel like its a bit lacking, especially with held items, but its actually pretty fun apart from floette being so powerful. Also it kind of feels like this is almost like a beta test or pre release and they are saving things/planning to implement a lot more when the mobile version of the game comes out.

No one shit talked demon1 for underperforming while on DRG though, in fact most people were saying that he played very well despite being in the situation he was in since DRG didn't comm at all in english and he was a last minute sub.

They trialed satellite though and whenever he was playing with them they did terrible in scrims and he had very poor performances

Getting 8 rounds on both maps is not playing poorly, its playing very mediocre, but it is far from playing poorly. Playing poorly is what DRG did against XLG on Lotus.

Except you aren't giving them any time, they have had a month of practice, with the waylay nerf suddenly happening halfway through that practice, their coach had to practice with them online half the time and then had visa issues causing him to get here late, then jerrwin couldn't make it because of Visa issues which means they have a player they hardly practiced with at all on the team. Like you can't just come to a conclusion on one match or one stage. Just look at NRG in 2025, they didn't hit their stride until stage 2.
