Hello!
I just completed my first year of collegiate VAL on my school's "B" tea, and I’ve learned a ton. but I’m realizing there’s a massive gap between “understanding Valorant” and actually understanding how to IGL at a deeper level. I feel like I know more than I did before, but at the same time I’m starting to realize how much I DONT know like advanced macro, map control, mid-rounding, conditioning opponents, utility layering, default structure, rotations, when to freeze and when to hit a site, and all the subtle things that aren't shown on the active cam during VCT broadcasts. The problem is I genuinely don’t know where to find that next level of information. I’m not looking for beginner IGL tips or how to IGL your ranked games to win. I want the deeper educational stuff, like I understand reclearing is important, but why do we do it and what does it provide for both sides.
Any help to where to find that info or your own tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
