if ethan can stop inting and they stop going for peeks without comms, NRG will be the best team in the world
and props to chet for the first half, his gameplans were really good actually
team just needs a LOT more reps on sunset attack
NRG probably have the best individuals in the world but they didn't look that great on Sunset despite the 14-16 loss
Round 1: Props to Chet for this one. Recognized the pistol round default SEN had been running previously. Ethan dodges the KAY/O knife SEN had been throwing, sets up a decent flashpeek for his team to swing off of. Could have been a bit cleaner but this was a great read from NRG
Round 2: antieco win
Round 3: Demon1 hits an insane shot on Zekken at the start of the round. Despite this, the setup that Crashies and Demon1 tried to run to fight the players in B main was objectively quite bad. Crashies was way too slow on the trade when Demon1 dies, probably because he didn't expect Demon1 to die so early. If Demon1 didn't peak so deep into B main, Zellsis dies there 10/10 times, they can just hold a crossfire. Very good positioning by Marved to cleanup round 3.
Round 4: NRG attempt to play retake A when Demon1 is opping. Definetely a comp diff here, the Viper wall isn't that great for playing retake on A and they don't have enough util to clear out the site. Marved's omen blind was not good either, doesn't help NRG fight the players on site in any way. They have to dryswing out of a smoke with barely any util and lose the round.
Round 5: Realize the retake isn't working on A, Marved attempts to hold the site solo but gets crunched from elbow and A main. NRG save instantly after losing Marved, once again they don't have enough util to attempt retake especially with Demon1 opping.
NRG have been playing retake on A every round and stacking heavily towards B and Mid. Chet has the right read on Sentinel's overall gameplay but the A site holds and retakes are so weak SEN basically can win rounds solely. They don't have the Gekko molly, kayo knife, or gekko blind to take fights A main.
Round 6: Ethan ints harder than Ange1.
Round 7: Another b stack, correct read on Sentinels again. Crashies and Ethan play off each other really well to win the round.
Round 8: God read by NRG, stacks 3 players with Demon1 opping on A to shut down the Sentinel's A hit. Insane positioning from Demon1 getting the entry on the smokes player to win the round for NRG.
Round 9: Sentinels realize that NRG are fighting for B main and playing retake A. Decent flank from Ethan and Marved but they get Omen flashed. This fucks up NRG's flank pretty much securing the round for SEN.
Round 10: NRG lose another A retake. Probably the best retake attempt yet, their initial flood was really good but they lose a couple fights and can't deal with the crossfires from site, amain, and elbow.
Round 11: Marved and Ethan prbably have some sloppy comms, the repeek by Ethan was way too late because Marved decided to repeek Elbow. Could've been a really nice double swing by NRG in CT but sloppy comms probably fucked them up here. They still win the round.
Anywho NRG won both pistols and a bonus round and still lose this game because their attack side is no bueno.
If Ethan could just call quicker I feel like even their attack side could become really strong.
Round 26 is so bad from NRG. After entrying Tenz, the site is clear but they start running away for a couple seconds, then rehit the site. Like they're just wandering around the map like fucking clueless ass chickens. This delay legit wins SEN the round because Ethan doesn't have enough time to runback to B main without getting buttfucked by Zekken. As he's planting, he's getting utiled when he's the only person on site. He tries to take control of boba BY HIMSELF because he doesn't seem to communicate properly that he needs help on site. If Demon1 planted (or anyone else really), they could've used a skye flash to at least delay the retake coming from Boba, and help the whole team fall back to B main. Or if Ethan planted like 2 or 3 seconds earlier, NRG would have a much easier post plant with Skye alive.

many teams don't even get the opportunity to play at international lans and prx manage to qualify and place high very consistently
it's hard to say they'll adjust and improve when they're already so good but maybe they can get 1st place this year, who knows
