Idk if I'd say that yet, but zekken looks very promising, and I'd argue he's the most valuable player in NA currently. He has great firepower, insane flexibility, is vocal/helps with calls, and is young which gives him a lot of time to grow.

Tbh they could've beaten EG, they just probably felt a lot of pressure due to them losing Jinggg. PRX is easily a top 4 team at worst, even with them being not that serious.

W for SEN if true

Change one was Marved for TenZ, then TenZ for dephh, but these moves happened like weeks apart. How is a team supposed to build chemistry if a roster is changing during the season?

Also, the Shahzam analogy makes perfect sense since your reasoning in the original post was because of his chemistry with Sacy and pancada, not his results with Loud. Also, Shahzam cannot be blamed entirely for SEN being bad in 2022, and tbh when they actually got a chance to bootcamp they didn't do that bad.

You're reasoning makes literally no sense because teams can't all start with previous cores, but they can still succeed. Like C9 only had leaf and xeppaa from the old C9, and yet they did pretty well. Conversely, 100T only changed will for Cryo and did really bad. If a team makes a change even if it's just one, the team will need time to build chemistry no matter what.

The change that makes the most sense is johnqt and it's not close. If pancada is going to switch back to smokes, which he's more comfortable with, SEN needs a sentinel IGL, which johnqt is. Plus, if you wanna talk about chemistry, Kaplan used to coach johnqt on Ghost gaming.

Breaking News: Team gets use out of 10-Man roster!

posted about 2 years ago

Dephh didn't work because of constant roster changes. Literally, it makes no sense to say that since dephh couldn't produce results, no other igl aside from saadhak would. With Marved we don't know how good he will be as an igl because he's still new at it. Also, if team chemistry is being judged on previous teammates, would Shahzam be the next best fit because of his chemistry with TenZ? Like bruh, what is this logic?

It needs to be said that you're a dumbass tbh.

Well, they did have a dip in performance between champs 2022 and lockin, but aside from that they've been pretty good.

posted about 2 years ago

Tbh it's DRX, from last year to this year, they got: 5-6, 5-6, 3, 3-4, 7-8, 5-6. Always managing to do a little damage but not enough.

posted about 2 years ago

Naw they're both good, zekken plays more duelist and Trent plays more initiator, so it's hard to compare.

W, Astra is fun to play imo.

Canadian Navi fans really taking L's on this one lmao.

In all seriousness though, chill. Bro is just trying to break into the journalism scene. Let him do his thing.

dawg what?

He has though, his daily scrimbux threads kind of count as that. It's trials and potential roster moves through scrims, backed up with some pictures of those said scrims. It's up to you whether that counts as enough information, but it doesn't seem like he's really been that wrong thus far.

Here's one: You don't need a degree to be a journalist though. All journalism is, is reporting factual or potential information to the public with supporting evidence. Which means, that if you have good enough linguistic capabilities to convey your information, evidence to back up your information, and regularly present this information as news, then you're a journalist.

For the next patch:

Duelist: Jawgemo
Initiator: nobody
Sentinel: Alfajer
Controller: MaKo
Flex: kiNgg (IGL)

The language barrier here is crazy lmao.

Sen easily, you have 4 top level players to igl with + you gain more following as a result of Sen's popularity.

Also, Kaplan is the coach which is an added bonus.

I think C9 wants to keep jakee so I don't think they would pick up bang. Also, 100t's core of Cryo, Asuna, and bang, is actually pretty good. They just need an upgrade over derrek, and stellar.

posted about 2 years ago

If that's true skuba would be a great replacement, but I actually think 100t should keep bang.

posted about 2 years ago

skuba and verno definitely deserve it, but verno is too young and no team really needs an upgrade at controller.

Bro NA does not need the, wait until 30 seconds to hit a site, slow and boring af EMEA gameplay.

We got the same flair, friendly fire fr. Also, mixwell would get diffed by cgrs, let alone any of the other prx players.

Bro please let this be real, it would be funny af.

If we're going off Jett alone, it's TenZ and it's not close. Chamber goes to yay by a mile, but Demon1 wins in flexibility. All were really good but played in different eras and metas so it's hard to tell how good each player really is in comparison to each other.

Holy shit these EMEA fans can't handle it when NA wins lol

Nah it's a good ending, just unfortunate Jinggg couldn't win before he leaves.

Nah he wants it too much that's he's always trying to make the play that wins the round.
