G2, Kru, and Loud are really the only good logos at this tourney, rest look kinda weird, TL is okay

posted about 2 years ago

This is a pretty bad take but Noyn isn't as bad as you.

posted about 2 years ago

You just took 3 of some of the highest rated players by analysts and fans and called them overrated. 8/8

posted about 2 years ago

I think Saadhak might be a better flex but im not sure.

Main issue was derke wasnt on the list, also literally no one thought that sentinels had fallen off that hard so it makes sense. Sure it’s a little high but no one thought they were getting grouped lol. Also all of them thought g2 would win but f4q had a chance which they did take a map. Besides literally everyone has been really wrong about something in val, no one actually knows what will happen

posted about 2 years ago

Almost no one is completely right, and usually they get a good idea of stuff. They always say eu is the best and will do well, which is what happens. I cant really think of any preds that were horribly wrong other than last iceland about vikings

posted about 2 years ago

Funniest thing about this is that they’re all higher than plat. And you act like you know what makes a team good lol

posted about 2 years ago

Even if you aren't actually better than the other team, you can't just put yourself down. What would the point of the tournament be if they thought they could never beat their opponent?

Should remove meddo and add buzz

posted about 2 years ago

It seems like you only look at the rankings they make and don't actually listen to the analysis, only one of them has na winning and he still said he thought they might have problems with their game such as a somewhat weak map pool. Their co-streams half the time are troll, the only one who always goes for the favorite in a match is sideshow.

posted about 2 years ago

He did have covid, but I agree you can only attribute so much to that.

posted about 2 years ago

derke no. 1 until aspas proves himself on lan. Derke is so good on lan so it makes more sense

posted about 2 years ago

lmao, the odds arent good for xerxia but im not sure they're THAT bad

posted about 2 years ago

Did you watch this podcast? They basically all either said that fnatic or fpx would win if fnatic had all 5 and fpx could've made it. Balla literally said emea is the god region, sideshow is an emea simp, wyatt said fpx would win, and bren said G2 would win

Personally I think Optic have improved a lot since Champions (part of the reason why they are more boring to watch) and kru and liquid have been pretty poor domestically it seems. Tbh I'm not sure whether kru or liquid will win because their comps are both so troll.

posted about 2 years ago

Worst thing is that they're one of the best so the number of boring matches increases.

posted about 2 years ago

v1 wasn't bad and they were also able to take a map off Fnatic

8/8

I don't understand how someone "can't play reyna", it's literally the most braindead shit ever. Also, aspas definitely can play reyna, he played reyna before jett or raze, also nukkye plays jett on breeze for g2 i thought?

10/10 good read

Unlucko Loud already out

posted about 2 years ago

dudes just match mvping almost every game lol, pretty sure he has one loss in his entire time in eu

posted about 2 years ago

Personally I don't really think xerxia is much weaker without pati, from what ive watched of apac surf is on the same level in terms of firepower. Only thing is that he seems less aware than pati.

posted about 2 years ago

It is a lot of fun to watch pros play in other regions ranked, I remember watching Stax dominate in eu ranked

posted about 2 years ago

Swap zeta and liquid for drx and xerxia and we're good.

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah except for that group, my point was that it wasn't particularly unlucky for them because really only one group was considered easy.

posted about 2 years ago

Tbh every group was the group of death at champions though.

posted about 2 years ago

Fnatic and Drx will probably see a rematch too.

posted about 2 years ago

Tbh they might beat fnatic since they don't have derke or braveaf

posted about 2 years ago

Regardless of whether he's an upgrade or not, he fills the gap pati left well enough.

posted about 2 years ago

No doubt

posted about 2 years ago

This is a literal death group, 2 Champions semi-finalists playing each other, and a rematch between optic and Xerxia.

From what I've heard Loud is a pretty big org in Brazil so maybe they will bring a lot of viewership especially if they have a good run. Not sure how many people Prx and Drx will bring though.

posted about 2 years ago

It's definitely not just Brazilian fans that are hyping Loud. People know this team is actually pretty good and it's getting Brazilian fans hyped because there are non-Brazilians saying this team is good

posted about 2 years ago

It is, but not for long 😈

posted about 2 years ago

Numbers wise zekken played better but Zellsis' ults with kayo are always really high value, I think he finds more value for his team than zekken, but zekken was better in playoffs.

Think I would have Avova instead of Mistic

posted about 2 years ago

Holy fuck actually really based. Yay is hard to categorize, only player i might put in here is stax as initiator but the other 3 are good too.

posted about 2 years ago

Beat Acend?

posted about 2 years ago

I sort of agree, while I think G2 and Optic should be the favorites, I can honestly see like 8 different teams winning which is more than half the tournament lol.

posted about 2 years ago

DRX has kinda been less consistent after the roster moves, replacing king with zest feels like a downgrade, mainly because king is one of the best players in Korea.

S - G2 OPTC LOUD
A - FNC TGRD KRU PRX VS
C - TL XIA
D - NiP LEV ZETA

posted about 2 years ago

I'm not saying they're bad by any means and they definitely do have a chance to win this tourney, of all the emea teams going in I have them the highest. I'm saying their playstyle isn't always consistent. They are pretty similar to how Guard play in my mind which isn't bad at all. Just a little too puggy I feel

posted about 2 years ago

Tbh there are like 7 different teams that could win

posted about 2 years ago

Idc what anyone says G2 will never belong in S.

posted about 2 years ago

Pretty much, I think if they could just learn to play a little bit more well rounded in playstyle DRX could become contenders for the tournament. I have hope for teams from minor regions because it's always been pretty clear that international experience has really helped develop minor region teams.

posted about 2 years ago

Loud has the potential to win the tourney, doesn't mean they will but they have way more potential than any other Brazilian team before them.
