ok cool just disregard the fact i said it was really close and I gave it to the team that had the most dominant stretch of this year in every circuit.

FNC also have significantly less prep time being in EMEA, going against the team who already has a better resume of games this year, it's clear to me who's better.

I was shown footage of Aleck's coaching and it changed my mind i apologize for that. Actually a terrible org.

XLG tryna get clout

Gen.G isn't consistent enough.

G2 vs FNC is really close, I'm giving it to G2 because they've been consistent throughout this year at Bangkok and FNC hasn't.

the recency bias is an entire 3 months of straight dominance from this team...

also wdym recency bias this is about current performance like tf???

worst take i've ever read

PRX choked a 12-8 and an 11-1 lead against liquid in an elimination game. Looked shaky in all of stage 1, their coach has no faith in his own team. PRX is not a functional team right now, but they're better than XLG at least.

G2 has only lost one series since the Bangkok final, and they beat them in the rematch. They have the best roster out of any team in this tournament.

G2 historically is 2-0 against PRX beating them in champions and in Shanghai.

PRX look SIGNIFCANTLY worse and G2 is still playing at the highest level.

Why would G2 lose this game?

  1. G2 (Give me one reason this team isn't #1)
  2. FNC (Being the #1 seed they have more prep time than other EMEA teams, they also have a roster of veterans and a young star. Dominant overall stage 1 performance.)
    (smaller tier gap)
  3. GEN.G (Read RRQ, dominant performance in this swiss stage along with prior tournament experience allow me to believe this team is a contender)
  4. SEN (Good stage 1 and swiss performances, just not as dominant as Gen.G)
  5. RRQ (Lack of experience, inconsistent losses and performances in stage 1. Aside from Jenkin, this entire team struggled in the S1 playoffs and are about to play with more tension)
    (MASSIVE TIER GAP)
  6. PRX (11-1 choke saved in OT, you can't win games if you constantly choke big leads)
  7. WOL (I like this team, they just played really bad teams in the swiss stage and are prob getting bounced. I want to see them win, I just don't think it's gonna happen)
  8. XLG (PRX is the worst team here and they 2-0'd them a month ago)

if emea go out this tournament with only 1 win i will die laughing

posted 1 month ago

this is pretty biased ngl, sen is 1-5 against G2 all-time and they just beat sen in americas 3-1

FNC has significantly less prep time than all other teams due to the situation in EMEA, because of that it's hard to see them going to the finals

Much less if FNC is in form to make it to the upperbracket final they're winning it over sen

G2 vs Gen.G is very debatable.

absolutely WILD PRX hate

Wolves are winning at least 1 series against FNC, GenG, and RRQ.

9/10 extreme biasness

all good, glad ur not delusional

posted 1 month ago

I don't get GEN.G over EDG and Vitality, they didn't do anything at Toronto yet and they have to play FNC who look better

posted 1 month ago

Yep. I agree 100%

posted 1 month ago

some games are harder than others, that's what this is about. I agree with you though.

posted 1 month ago

they were two rounds away from choking the biggest lead we've ever seen on an international stage TODAY

This isn't a two day fix.

posted 1 month ago

G2 out in 2 against teams they historically own????????

posted 1 month ago

I got FNC over SEN

posted 1 month ago

Winners

G2: Conference with PRX who really shouldn't be here, SEN who they constantly beat, and a team from china with little international experience.
GENG: Playing FNC who have little prep time and either WOL or RRQ, who both have very little experience on the international stage.

Losers

FNC: Little prep time, likely not beating GENG. Looking at a very long lower bracket run.
XLG: SEN was NOT the pick, G2 or PRX round 2

would be #6 imo, banger.

posted 1 month ago

I don't PRX is going to make it that far. They are VERY undisciplined.

  1. G2 vs FNC (#1 NA vs #1 EU, two tournament contenders)
  2. GENG vs SEN (Masters Madrid rematch)
  3. WOL vs RRQ (Two upcoming teams on an insane rebound)
  4. SEN vs G2 (Biggest regional rivalry in vct rn, in NA as well)
  5. WOL vs PRX (Chaos)

Not predictions as to what would happen in the brackets, just stuff that could happen to be excited for.

Honorable mentions that are confirmed: GENG vs FNC (t3xture vs kaajak), and G2 vs PRX (clout)
