Stop saying Chilean like they’re a bad team, those guys are cracked
Probably ending 2021 with the El Classico of Valorant
Valorant
LoL
Overwatch
Hollowknight
Minecraft
Clash Royale
VS haven’t won yet, you never know what could happen
My updated list of teams that can win Champions (not in order):
1) Fnatic
2) Gambit
3) Liquid
4) Acend
5) KRU
6) Vision Strikers
7) Cloud9
8) Envy
9) X10 Crit
10) Vikings
11) Secret
Honorable Mention: TSM
NA still has C9 and NV, wouldn't count them out yet
geography isn't everything, support the teams and players you enjoy watching
EMEA deadass has a higher chance of cheering against themselves than BR cheering for NA
Pretty good analysis, but the only thing I don't see happening is VS banning Ascent immediately
Ascent's looked like their instaban this tournament so far, but it's mostly been because Full Sense and Fnatic are both pretty good on that map, with C9B also choosing to instaban the map in their matches
If I were Vision Strikers, I'd choose to instaban Bind/Fracture in this matchup instead of Ascent
What are we thinking now?
Add KR and JP to your rankings, I feel left out
Idk, VS have choked against teams they were supposed to beat in the past (Gambit | Fnatic), so I could see this match taking a bad turn
So are VS supposed to win? Yes.
Will they win? Not sure.
What are the new region rankings after today? Do we genuinely think anything has changed?
As a VS and C9 fan, this is a rough draw
Less typing, more playing
Karma at its finest
KRU 4 THE WIN
Why tf did TenZ w key through the Astra wall after getting revived, while his teammate is attempting to knife the wall
Communication error and a half
You cursed it for yourself
Vikings, Vivo Keyd, and Acend over VS?
Fnatic are really good and I don’t think losing to them should send VS that far down the list
They wouldn’t even get a day in LoL 2 before exports dominate the scene
Dropping the coach that got them to Berlin for a coach that hasn’t achieved anything in this game yet, failing to work with NRG, TSM, and now NV’s roster
Acend are probably the first good example of onliners in Valorant
Edit: nvm, forgot about SMB
but what were the most unsuccessful teams of 2021?
SQ?
FPX?
T1?
GLB?
TSM?
Nozwer isn't a top 5 Sova imo and Lakia hasn't played enought to even be considered for a list. Xeta should be on there instead
As for Sinatraa, probably like 3-4 range (at the very least behind Sacy and Crashies)
Both teams have insane map pools
Duelist: Asuna
Initiator: Derrek
Controller: dephh
Sentinel: ANDROID / steel / babyJ
I think KR and JP should be merged, but I don't think APAC as a whole would benefit from becoming one region
As well, once China and South Asia become more integrated into the VCT, making APAC one region could become hectic
KR went 3-2 against SEA in the APAC LCQ and VS just beat their 'best' team (13-5, 13-5)
idk where the whole SEA >>> KR thing started, although I don't agree with people saying KR deserves a slot from SEA
DK were in the middle of a roster overhaul and NU were adding a new player as well
Neither team had substantial practice
Are you sure the leagues are connected to the VCT? From what I've read, they are meant to be secondary events to give teams something to play in between the main VCT
You probably know more than I do though
How many slots would you propose East Asia gets than?
JP+KR --> East Asia (2 slots)
Xeta vs BuZz
This'll be a good match
I agree, especially when Sova's like Sacy, crashies, and chronicle are out there
I do think his utility usage is the best in the world though
insanely impactful player with incredible utility usage
underrated af
The three best utility using teams are in the same group, their the one's playing Valorant the way it was intended
FS playing scared af and just allowing C9 to control where they go
The VK situation pushed the VS match back by an entire day :(
Spam 🛡️ this 🛡️ defense 🛡️ to 🛡️ help 🛡️ full 🛡️ sense 🛡️
Terrible take
SEN vs VKS Quarterfinals
SEN vs FNC Semifinals
SEN vs Liquid Grand Finals
Would be fun to watch three grudge matches in a row, though I don't think it is possible anymore
