TLN are really creative on Ascent, not sure why DRX didn’t prioritize playing Icebox instead

posted about a year ago

I have no idea why they didn’t choose Icebox

Rb not playing Neon is a massive throw

posted about a year ago

First half goes a lot different if BuZz didn’t whiff the 1v1 but it is what it is. Let’s see if they’ve improved their Ascent since playing against BBL

THEY REALLY ALL JUST LEFT LMFAO

If Talon win, there will be officially 0 pickems with 100% accuracy

At least deserved to make top 16 based on this match. Unfortunate playing Loud first round

they need to replace one of the caster duos with Paperthin and Achilios

Pacific guaranteed top 4 LFG

DRX still innovating
TLN and Gen.G looking competitive
PRX unfortunate map picks in hindsight but will hopefully bounce back

Not as bad as we originally thought after Day 2

posted about a year ago

now time for Talon to win 🙏

posted about a year ago

gotta get them back for bullying our Pacific brothers

GGs C9, have a safe flight 👋

Idk how I feel about this. Im yet to see harbor even win a map

💀

posted about a year ago

C9 and DRX are chill with each other, it’s just a little banter

posted about a year ago

LOUD vs GENG Fracture was a banger too

posted about a year ago

C9 could still win Haven, Drx defense <<<< Drx attack

posted about a year ago

T1 going to have a C9 level comeback then 🙏🙏🙏

posted about a year ago

It looks like a waste cause you can see where C9 players are. DRX don’t have that, so they have to clear it.

WHAT THE FUCK SEULGI WHYYY

posted about a year ago

two major issues for DRX was that they played way to slow and they lost like 80% of the duels.

posted about a year ago

it’s not mental lmfao, they’re just getting beat. idk why u guys still think everything is a mental issue for this team

posted about a year ago

maybe they could also just color the matches under the tab? like highlight franchise matches in gold, VCL matches in green, and then keep miscellaneous matches like knights tournaments just white

posted about a year ago

They didn't have any strats and prolly considered this as a showmatch as it is. As Jingg said in his streams they actually wanted to get quick 2-0ed and prepare for Tokyo. PRX players were not motivated at all to play this event seriously.

no offense but this is so much copium. teams still want to win this event and should be motivated to do so. if they don't, they probably shouldn't even be franchised in the first place (the rest of your takes are good though)

posted about a year ago

they do have an pretty solid mental now though? went 4/4 in OTs in Champions, made a 12-4 comeback, a 9-3 comeback, and nearly reverse swept OPTIC. not to mention even recently, after dropping a map against BBL, instead of falling apart like they use to they were just laughing before locking in map 3

While I was taking a long ass nap, he told me that tomorrow both EG and C9 win to guarantee an Americas team makes finals.
on the other side of the bracket, TL and FNC go through and guarantee an EU vs NA finals (he said it'll be good for viewership)
the final ends up being C9 vs FNC where C9 3-1 in the finals (sorry boaster). yay becomes the first player to win two international events

sorry for spoiling the rest of the tournament

also I swear I'm not schizophrenic

FPX, PRX, MIBR

he’s going to end up just like Seoldam, whether people want to admit it or not

posted about a year ago

KC and GIA too high while KOI and GENG are too low in my opinion

posted about a year ago

c9 2-0

Gen.G is good, just unlucky with 1st round matchup

Let’s go Maru, great for my pickems ^_^

Everyone saying the low infrastructure/develop are only imagining the poor parts, it's like having a mental picture of the slums of Detroit or the favelas of Rio and applying it to all of NA/BR, so it's a bull shit argument.
In my opinion though, it's the region's Valorant that still needs to develop more before they host a major. Give it like 2-3 years to see how well GE's plan + the SA VCL do at attracting an audience and developing semi-competitive SOUTH ASIAN (not import) teams before a major gets a hosted.

oh that’s actually a nice story. the name is still really funny sounding to me out of context though

FRZ (big furnace)

please elaborate on this nickname lmao

posted about a year ago

You forgot FUT vs RRQ

posted about a year ago

I think you're underrating NRG/C9/EG, the NA teams are really strong this event

posted about a year ago

true lol but that's why I want to see people's takes cause they'll all be hella spicy. also MIBR is 100% better than DFM

posted about a year ago

How would you rank the eliminated teams so far in the tournament?

Only placement I am 100% sure on is DFM last to be honest so I wanna see some thoughts

posted about a year ago

GGs Loud, now time for me to go cope 😭

posted about a year ago

I thought we already knew that TS has no clue how to play that map

posted about a year ago

I’m sorry, but I gotta watch Fracture too :|

posted about a year ago

Tune in at 9-5 and Gen.G don’t win another round 😞

EMEA is 2-3 I thought

TR chanted for DRX against FPX

Aren’t those the same general rules they had for Istanbul and Copenhagen though?
