who would’ve guessed that the best teams end up being the top 4 cores from Champions. maybe we need to stop hyping up new teams as much
him fumbling the awp shot is what literally lost NRG the game
no but TL are playing about as good as a GC team would at the moment
It’s okay, remember 99% of gamblers quit before they win big.
I don’t expect them to beat Furia at all but I also think people are overestimating how bad they are off of the Ludwig x Tarik event.
I don’t know if it’s a hot take but I feel like a solid 1/3 of franchised teams at least would’ve also got exposed similarly by TGrd/TSM too had they attended that event.
Thread should be about why are tierlists wrongfully underestimating Loud specifically, not all Brazilian teams. If anything, channels like Plat Chat gave a team like MIBR way too much credit. As for Furia, I may personally think they are the dark horse of the event but their is no evidence that they will be anything past a B tier team at the moment, so I wouldn't say they are even being underestimated yet.
ban is still better than will though
I think so. It would either be scrim all teams including KR teams or not scrimming any Pacific franchise teams at all, so my guess would be they’re doing the former*
Edit: they also scrimmed Talon before so nearly 100% sure they scrim Gen.G too now
Definitely! And DRX vs LOUD is a win-win scenario too honestly, cause either I get to see DRX finally make a GF or LOUD play with a packed crowd. Obviously I’d still rather see DRX win and maybe get another slot for Pacific but it will be a great match regardless of the result.
W Saadhak respecting other teams. I wonder how true DRX’s word is about Gen.G or if they were just hyping up the homies for their debut

GGs Talon, let's see if DRX can make the Pacific region proud
TLN are really creative on Ascent, not sure why DRX didn’t prioritize playing Icebox instead
I have no idea why they didn’t choose Icebox
First half goes a lot different if BuZz didn’t whiff the 1v1 but it is what it is. Let’s see if they’ve improved their Ascent since playing against BBL
If Talon win, there will be officially 0 pickems with 100% accuracy
At least deserved to make top 16 based on this match. Unfortunate playing Loud first round
they need to replace one of the caster duos with Paperthin and Achilios
Pacific guaranteed top 4 LFG
You have an obsession with the past, don’t accept the present, and aren’t ready for the future -Sprouts 2023
DRX still innovating
TLN and Gen.G looking competitive
PRX unfortunate map picks in hindsight but will hopefully bounce back
Not as bad as we originally thought after Day 2
gotta get them back for bullying our Pacific brothers
Idk how I feel about this. Im yet to see harbor even win a map
C9 and DRX are chill with each other, it’s just a little banter
LOUD vs GENG Fracture was a banger too
C9 could still win Haven, Drx defense <<<< Drx attack
T1 going to have a C9 level comeback then 🙏🙏🙏
It looks like a waste cause you can see where C9 players are. DRX don’t have that, so they have to clear it.
mixture of both
two major issues for DRX was that they played way to slow and they lost like 80% of the duels.
it’s not mental lmfao, they’re just getting beat. idk why u guys still think everything is a mental issue for this team
maybe they could also just color the matches under the tab? like highlight franchise matches in gold, VCL matches in green, and then keep miscellaneous matches like knights tournaments just white
They didn't have any strats and prolly considered this as a showmatch as it is. As Jingg said in his streams they actually wanted to get quick 2-0ed and prepare for Tokyo. PRX players were not motivated at all to play this event seriously.
no offense but this is so much copium. teams still want to win this event and should be motivated to do so. if they don't, they probably shouldn't even be franchised in the first place (the rest of your takes are good though)
they do have an pretty solid mental now though? went 4/4 in OTs in Champions, made a 12-4 comeback, a 9-3 comeback, and nearly reverse swept OPTIC. not to mention even recently, after dropping a map against BBL, instead of falling apart like they use to they were just laughing before locking in map 3
While I was taking a long ass nap, he told me that tomorrow both EG and C9 win to guarantee an Americas team makes finals.
on the other side of the bracket, TL and FNC go through and guarantee an EU vs NA finals (he said it'll be good for viewership)
the final ends up being C9 vs FNC where C9 3-1 in the finals (sorry boaster). yay becomes the first player to win two international events
sorry for spoiling the rest of the tournament
also I swear I'm not schizophrenic
FPX, PRX, MIBR
he’s going to end up just like Seoldam, whether people want to admit it or not
KC and GIA too high while KOI and GENG are too low in my opinion
