To be fair, his best champions were banned by G2. His Jayce was banned 3 times, his ambessa 2 times.

And Doran is not useless, I think he is just being overhated. They almost lost a game to TLAW on their 2nd match but he clutched it with his Jayce.

Its not like he was useless the entire series, yes he got solo killed multiple times, but most of the time T1 get something on the other side of the map after Doran died.

And if you check LCK ranking of players, only Keria and Peyz were ranked 1, even Oner is not on his usual form, he was ranked 6 out of all junglers, Faker was ranked 5th out of all midlaners and Doran ranked 5th on the topside.

But Doran is part of top 5 when it comes to solo killers at the lck, I think he even ranked number 1 last year summer.

The criticism is fair because he played poorly and even he himself admitted it during interview, but I think calling Doran useless and saying so many rude things about him is not fair at all. Yes he struggled, yes he played poorly but it is not fair to judge a player based on his bad series, or bad year. Remember he bloomed while he is being coached by Kkoma, Kkoma took a leave of absence, maybe Tom's coaching is different and maybe Doran is still adjusting, easyhoon is a new coach too. And to his haters, dont worry on one of Doran's stream he already mentioned that he has other goals that he wants to accomplish because he is not getting any younger, so the chance of him retiring after his contract is a big possibility, Kiin might be retiring too because he will serve at the military.
