rito mandated that orgs have to sign 6 players, 1 coach and 1 gm at least. so, orgs are still shopping around. teams probably won't be announced until next week.
franchised teams in league own their spot tho unlike in valorant. rito can't kick G2 out unless the org goes bankrupt or their contract runs out.
i tried to find how long G2's contract was in league but couldn't. still, the earliest it can be is at the end of this year. by then, the internet will forget everything. so, rito threatening to kick G2 out after this year from league would be dumb. to me, it seems like a paranoid decision made by the board of directors at G2.
we just have wait for the whole thing to unfold.
how can rito force carlos to sell his shares? that doesn't sound plausible. G2 is a privately owned org, right? so, rito wouldn't have any power over G2 and carlos. i feel like it's just the board of directors trying to cut all ties with carlos.

they were 11-7 up on breeze. you can't criticize the skye pick when it was so crucial for them to get the lead on the first place. they won a game from 12-4 down. it's the mental barrier they can't get over. i swear, if they had won breeze even in a 60 round OT, they would've washed LOUD on haven. but instead, they lost 13-6.

EDG beat some korean teams and northeption. a team that went out 3rd from a group that had a weakened FPX and DRX. don't overrate EDG. liquid has 0 cohesion and inconsistent. if they stop hitting heads, they might go out first. and lev is ok but a lot of their success in copenhagen was from clutches which are not repeatable.

i don't think group A is group of death. considering, that prx will easily make it out and the 2nd team isn't likely to win a single game in playoffs. i don't think we have a group of death this champions. but, the easiest group is definitely group B.
football and cricket. but, i think basketball might be the most entertaining sports.
group a has better team quality than group d, for sure. but, the teams are much closer to each other in group d. so, the competition will much more riveting.

ascent might be the worst match for pro play but still fun to play. the amount of wallbangable spots is frustrating.
