They literally have no competition. If they can't constantly scrim the top NA teams then NA and EU will surpass them quickly. Similar to DRX, 1 team region is bad for the best team in that region because of strength differences.

Competition is increasing and so are teams looking to create a stable roster that can qualify for international tournaments.
Failure to qualify for Masters and Champions without a top 4 finish:
Sentinels = Core has been together for about 1.5 years so any further disappointment may lead to implosion of the roster and starting over with TenZ and Sick.
C9 = Not a full roster disband but a roster change to improve further than to remain consistently good and not achieve much.
Faze = Tons of experience of making roster moves. CSGO is a very good example and no problem with cash so buyouts go brrrr.
V1 = Zellsis already wants a break and unable to make Challengers 2 really hurt the team's ambitions overall.
TSM = Once again, organisation with lots of experience in roster moves e.g. LoL any bad form of results = CHANGE!
