I'll give them props their killing it in challengers but I don't have much hope for them in vct if they make it they will need a team overhaul with players with bigger agent pools if they get some one like demon1 who has experience in vct they may do alot better then their current roster, that's not to throw shade at them at all I just think the inexperienced and in my opinion the lack of agent pool they will get figured out super quick in vct

To be fair NRG have got potential but their biggest downfall is their inconsistancy for the past 2 years they have roster changes mid season that have kinda screwed them up a little I mean if they keep this roster together for the next season and they gel and get into a better grove working with each other they have a chance but not this year imo

NGL G2 are just chilling this stage they've qualified for champs on points alone they don't need to win this stage so if 2g try hard they can win this but it'll be a hollow victory

I personally would say no its not a Mickey mouse tourney due to a couple of factors, teams had to qualify for this event for all games, the prize pool and the size of this event is huge, yes riot hasn't made it apart of it's official vct circuit and will agree on part that it makes it an unofficial tournament with no points being valid this year but from what I remember riots considering this event for next year as part of the vct circuit which teams will get points for

It's not just politics but also money all country's against Russia don't want to be associated with potentially funding Russia ie. Russian team wins champs gets the prize money and gets taxed by the russian government which effectively funds their war I agree politics shouldn't have any part in games but if the reason is to not be associated with funding a war that I do agree

Verno was in tier 2 with oxygen eSports where bonkar was their coach basically got a free ride over to tier 1 when bonkar got signed to nrg, and the only reason nrg won the off season tournaments into opinion was that all the other teams were strat saving and they didn't which ment when kick off came about they got bodied in both games because teams knew how to read them (for the record I don't know for sure if that's true it's merely an opinion)
