What makes you say this? Shaw praises koala like he’s a leader who isn’t a leader. Grinds, works hard bts and calls a ton in game. He was pretty much the reason they qualified to Masters in the first place those performances were outrageous with the OP.

He’s also a former Jett 1 trick so surely this meta suits him super well again.

  • another bonus is Brazil overall loves koala so with another added Brazilian and Chilean surely it helps anyways.

Yeah I didn’t even bring up basic either. If what people say is true this guy could be a huge addition to Furia. Time will tell and the only thing stopping this guy is probably experience and confidence on the stage. Excited to see him play.

Overall I’m optimistic about these Furia changes.

I think Shyy for nerve is quite the upgrade. They were always missing a real sentinel player and this will help them greatly. This guy fried in T1 when he was in it.

As for alym I feel a bit more bad because he definitely has potential and will hopefully show it on his next team however it’s not a lie to say overall he had like 2 or 3 good games this year, whereas koala minus the second half of split 1 had a good or pop off game every series. So keeping him makes sense > alym when you hear from the coach how much this guy does BTS + borderline calls for this team sometimes (sources are the Shaw post match videos)

I think people are thinking of NAVI Koalanoob again who still had top 3 fkpr despite the mid season. He had to play in a Tejo breach meta with no Tejo breach and of course struggled.

Every season for the past few he’s been top 3 in his FKPR. Kickoff he was #1 or 2 I think.

It’s an OP meta again and we saw what he could do in kickoff. People are overreacting on him going back to main duelist. On M80 he was a monster.

I’m defending a player that carried the squad to masters? Are you forgetting kickoff? Split 1 he was on weird roles with the Phoenix. Now that it’s Jett he’s gonna hopefully perform to the kickoff level again where people had him as a top 5 player going into Santiago?

Check kickoff and comeback. Clearly the team struggled which also affected his performance lol. You can disagree with the moves which but to say this isn’t gonna be koalas meta similar to kickoff is just flat out a lie and hating for no reason. This team on paper looks like an upgrade but I am sad for the two Qor guys.

I think people forgot Koala pretty much carried this team to Masters. He had a pretty bad split 1 on the second half but Alym this entire year was pretty bad/inconsistent.

It’s a Jett meta and people always praised koala OP so Furia probably views that as more valuable + we also don’t know what goes on behind the scenes. Koala has been known to borderline igl so they probably like that as well.
