this game requires more mental and focus then most of your typical jobs, and no food or drink can affect your brain in ways you wouldn’t expect.
big part of sentinels winning this map was there retake capability but hopefully the T side is the same vs loud but that’s not always the case
i mean most of these teams replaced there roster or added 2/3 players and had to change there style, you didn’t see EG peak until champs 9 months into the year same with edg
only team here that peaked early was FNC bc they made no roster changes going into 2023

finally played a team that is smart and can stop the retake, it was a good split run.

works the same way prx combo skye flashes with reyna ?
you can only throw a gekko flash so far reyna would be fine with it
most teams don’t even run a double flash with the kayo because kayo not meta use ur head
gekko flash would combo with either reyna or kayo flash perfectly fine
i also looked at this and i also thought bc it was vs maybe double smoked maybe it’s just harder to get the full potential of the comp but who knows, i just feel like idk out of all the icebox games i seen you barley even see kayo anymore and they could do better without it

why they just don’t put him on reyna or omen
kayo has kinda fell out of the meta on icebox and half the fights he’s taking would be better suited for a escape artist character like reyna , omen, chamber frfr

Most teams are new and really prioritize only a few maps going into the event, not all teams can practice all 7 maps and have it down packed by the first event of the year, but buy the end of the year Teams definitely have strats prepared for more maps and you also have a whole season of film on said team you’re playing so Adding all that in its 100% more OP first event of the year then it would be at the end of the year.
Just like at champs PRX still had map bans on EG but still got curb stomped, if PRX let’s say would’ve been in the same situation at like Tokyo or even kick off they 100% probably beat EG in a bo5 with 2 map ban advantages

ehh, it’s definitely an advantage depending on who you’re playing and when, right now it leans towards that way, new year new season new teams , so not everyone has a 4-5 map pool as of yet so it would be a bigger advantage now then it would be at champs because by champs time almost any team can play 6 out of the 7 maps usually 1 team always has a perm ban

Icebox still needs some tweaking but maybe Loud is just very good on that map, the double smokes is hard to play vs, I honestly feel like if youre going vs them with that comp basically like a duelist is pointless CT side.

depends, Id say masters is only preseason bc of recent agent changes but most teams stayed majority the same so not for that reason, but once split 1 starts the season is officially on
