What kind of mental gymnastics are you playing to try to find a way to be openly hateful towards people. Newsflash, there are people in every country who feel like they don't align with either male or female pronouns, they just don't advertise it because people with the same ideology as you will harass them verbally and sometimes physically. It still happens in the west. I'm not defending Riot, I agree they are just a company doing whatever they can to make the most money possible. I'm defending the people who are getting hate for absolutly no reason just because one character doesn't have he/him or she/her pronouns like the 23 before. Again, I'm not saying anyone and everyone should be ousted for not correctly gendering poeple 100% of the time, just the people who are choosing to do so just because they don't feel like non-binary people should exist.

This is the last-time im going to respond. Clearly everything is just going over your head. I hope that one day you can mature and realize that being hateful is just wasted energy.

So you agree that people who live in those countries who consider themselves non-binary have no way to express themselves for who they are? And that possibly the existance of someone like themselves in a video game they like to play can give them possibly the little bit of representation or comminity they don't have in their real life?

Stop acting like its ok to be hateful towards an entire group of people just because they are wrongfully persecuted in some of the most authoritarian countries in the world. This is no different than being hateful towards a religious group for believing in their religion. Just becuase christians, jews, muslims are being persecuted in different countires around the world doesn't make it ok. Why should it not be the same for non-binary people and other LGBTQ+ identifying people.

Wanting a group of people to feel safe and welcome doesn't make you sheltered or in a bubble, I just believe its never ok to direct hate towards people who are just being who they are while not inflicting any hate outward. How simple is that

How is a group of people who just want to exist without being harassed causing any controversy? They are literally doing nothing towards you that affects your life at all more than just asking to be referred to as they/them. They are humans too. This has nothing to do with what other poeple do accross the world. This just has to do with making a group of people not feel like outliers in the community.

If you are being openinly hateful towards a group of people for being in that group... that is the definition of being bigoted.

This isn't 'drama'. Non-Binary people existing and being represented in a video game is not controversial. It is only a big deal becuase people are choosing to be bigoted about it. I understand that it may be genuienly hard for people to get used to saying they/them pronouns for a character who looks particulary feminine because they aren't used to it. But being purposly hateful towards the idea of a character representing a group of people, who are very much real and don't want their existance to be political, is a very sad and pathetic thing to do. If something like this is actually upsetting to you, you are a bad person and need to re-evaluate your world view.

The only thing that should be important is that now a margalized group can feel represented in their favorite game, just like others have felt since launch.
