While I love the idea of having so many games that's also my biggest problem with this one is that there would just be so many games that as a hardcore viewer I would be incapable of watching all the games. I think its honestly a little fun that the super teams do have a chance to go out earlier than expected as it will make incredible underdogs and we have so much time in the future for those teams to develop and play in Tokyo and at Champs.

The real worst signing imo goes to someone like RRQ who resigned a very poor PH squad that hadn't ever done anything in VCT when there are so many good players available in the region

Most of the best players outside these teams will probably get picked up so no telling what happens to teams like optic or g2, however there will still be the tier 2 regional leagues they can be in where they can try to go to the ascension tourney at the end of next year and earn a 2 year spot from there.

I completely agree, and I've really enjoyed having the desk this event, I feel Mimi and Achillios have been fantastic and I love how they've gotten the players on the desk recently

Well they cant even have a team in the tier 2 regional circuits which is still a pretty big deal

Wow the no academy team for franchise league is really interesting. I hope it will mean more orgs stay in and keep/sign rosters even if they don’t make it in.
