Bang is a good player, just wasn't the right fit with Sentinels (at least they tried to make it work for a year).

W thread for trying to improve the website
Santiago: DRX
London: FNC
Champs: MIBR
Its his dream team to be fair, not yours.
At least he's being honest, which isn't bad at all
Tbf I think the expectation is for NRG G2 and MIBR to take the three spots for both masters, if Sen is able to qualify for one of them in the first year that’s already exceeding expectations.
They invited all the NA teams but mass majority of them didn’t have a full roster available or were still doing trials.
we do have threads of it at least, with Fnatic and Aspas constantly making it far in Champs for an example.
Ngl I can't tell if you're skitzo or not: https://www.vlr.gg/583929/sen-should-drop-cortezia/#10
Tbf 100T actually won a regional trophy in 2024 and made masters shanghai, them keeping Asuna is less egregious than keeping Xeppaa.
Does curry want to play full time? I know that he wanted to be a 6th man for Sen in 2024 since he wanted to stream primarily.
Doesn’t look like they will though.
reminds me of Sym on EG at Sen City Classic, feel kind of bad.
Tbf I don’t think GenG is that hated, relative to T1. People are mostly frustrated that they keep failing to make finals at worlds more than anything.
For Fnatic the expectation since 2023 was always to win international trophies including champs which runs similar to GenG. G2 only really had that expectation this year when they got Jawgemo.
Think that title goes to Fnatic, has won masters in the past and regional titles but are still going after that champs title that still eludes them till this day. They even had that 2023 superteam that was expected to win it all.
You do realize Sacy was the one that scouted Cortezia and convinced Aspas to pick him up for MIBR last year?
Still has immense impact on the Brazilian scene even till today.
Uhh next week Nov 12-16th: https://www.vlr.gg/event/2602/red-bull-home-ground-2025/play-in
I mean with Cortezia in this form, MIBR could’ve be the first true dynasty in valo (imagine saying that 2 years ago).
I honestly feel bad for everyone ever connected to c9 valorant, this cannot be healthy mentally and career wise for anyone involved with all the constant roster churn and criticism going on every year. Somethings gotta change with how they approach their valorant division.
Xeppaa is signed till 2027 so we'll get 1 year of full Oxy potential 2 years down the line, trust.
Off-season is precisely the place to get team cohesion together and figure out what’s working or not and iterating, do you want c9 to go back to dropping members right after an offseason event again?
I'm down for that, would love to see Nismo get a chance in T1
Not sure if Rob wants to give up Nightz and Satellite
Hey man, put some respect on Curry; he's got a VCT masters title (at least in game).
Nah, the general consensus is that MIBR, G2, and NRG in whatever order are the top dogs coming into this season, SEN isn't expected to make all the internationals in comparison.
Expectations are reset for the team, think they can play much better given that there's no pressure to immediately succeed unlike 2025.
Agreed, but VLR would be endless meltdown threads
I just wish they stop doing the same things every damn offseason, just genuinely don't know how players are okay with going to C9 knowing how they treated players in the previous years.
vlr would explode if none of G2 MIBR or NRG makes it in kickoff
Tbf dude built Sen up from the ground, really happy that the owner is super passionate and involved.
Tbf he didn’t say he limited it to just Valo, maybe EMEA won an international title in a different sport in the past 3 weeks.
Good luck, hope this iteration of c9 is able to surpass all expectations and lead the fans to an international this year.
Still glad there's little expectations on Sen, hope that the roster can grow alot this year.
honestly I love owners or GMs who are very transparent with their fans about their moves and justification for said moves, these seem very logical on paper.
All of his teammates on 100T told him to move to Sen and get the bag, he didn’t leave with no notice.
What about Sen, C9, and KRU?
Who the heck is flyuh and Moose trialing for?
Sen is Tenz, though Zekken is close
How is he on fraudwatch? Losing in semis doesn't diminish what he's accomplished in the past.
Entire roster is signed till 2028 as per Rob Moore, its a long term project: https://x.com/robmooreEsports/status/1984756096524042441
Probably thought JohnQT can help out in mid-rounding and having additional vet presence always help.
Imagine shaming an org for bringing up tier 2 talent and giving them a chance, and not only that, tier 2 talent that they themselves developed.
EDIT: Heck, NRG won with a player that they acquired from Cubert. Sen could've easily said no but they rather see their players thrive in tier 1 and succeed.
They do iirc in LCK, but T1 has special provisions for Faker.
Sen 2025 failed for various different reasons, Bang isn't a bad player at all, just wasn't the right fit unfortunately given how passive the roster was overall outside of Zekken and maybe N4RRATE on occasions. I wish all of Sen 2025 the best in the upcoming season, they all tried their best with the circumstances and made all the LANs which is incredibly hard to do over the course of a year.
