pretty optimistic for the korean scene come 2022. they've shown a lot with such a small playerbase and i'm looking forward to the teams that come out of the rumored changes in the scene. would love to see players like lakia, seoldam, etc get their time to shine

don't really get it, why would you want people to stop hyping up teams that represent them lol. vs are the best asian team and it's nice that the asian community have a team to root for, unlike in cs

Great observation

it's possible if vanity/mitch stay at this level, everyone on C9 needs to be playing at top form in order to contest liquid's firepower

definitely not impossible though

man why do you hate vs so much lmfao nonstop commenting

posted about 2 years ago

realistically he'll probably either find a new team or actually join the starting roster by next tournament. huge changes gonna come to korean scene in the next few months

posted about 2 years ago

was a good game tho. c9 breeze is so unorthodox

posted about 2 years ago

might just be losing to the eventual winners in quarters again

hope they prove me wrong but liquid look impenetrable rn

they could also just lose to c9 lol

posted about 2 years ago

you can hate him but in the end you don’t lose a game because of one player kek

posted about 2 years ago

this might be the craziest day of professional valorant history holy shit

insanity

just delete your account man this public humiliation isn't worth it

there is more to igling than making calls/strats and fragging

if you lack the charisma and social ability to lead properly your team will falter, envy have a good system with players that synergize well. you don’t alter that for no reason

posted about 2 years ago

hard to call players that have never competed at international stage the best

for me especially because i rate eeiu super high but nrg sucks so much ass... i cant even mention him here

posted about 2 years ago

really dope match, if bind wasn't a stomp would probably be one of the best comp series of all time

posted about 2 years ago

duelist - asuna
initiator - bcj
controller - gmd because nitro is out
sentinel - not much competition probably steel lol

whenever i see xeta do well i get sad about how much potential c9 korea had, happy that he’s finding success in his own path now though

posted about 2 years ago

as a pro your obligation is to put yourself in peak form for every match, for some players spamming ranked does more harm than good for them. as such it would actually be appropriate for them to balance their playtime instead of mindlessly grinding the game at all times

posted about 2 years ago

his kit has no character and it’s really sad, other characters have basically stolen his entire identity. he was made to be the “self sufficient, entry duelist that can heal himself” but slowly other agents were added that just do everything he can, but better (reyna, skye, kayo)

think he would benefit from a rework more than brimstone or even yoru, who sucks but at least has a unique identity

i have never seen a team get eco'd this many times in one series

demon of a player

posted about 2 years ago

yeah, it's language barrier causing people involved to take things way more offensively than they should be. sucks

posted about 2 years ago

you don't respond to someone's tweet with a meme they can't understand

and when they respond back "being all serious" be like bro why you starting shit man

there are no rules, but you cant take moral highground when anyone in shahzams position that doesnt speak portuguese would liegit think the same thing

Obviously I want most/all regions to have representation on the world stage, but there are definitely better ways to go about doing this. I think it would be interesting if Riot considered a play-in stage as part of the main event, similar to lol worlds, where the lower seeded teams/regions can compete within a intermediate lan event almost. For example, it would be super interesting to see teams like Australs, Northeption, DWG, competing against Guild, Alliance, XSET, Rise etc. as a final qualifier into the main tournament. Unfortunately with the current setup these types of matchups are effectively never going to happen because the only international events are the absolute eschelon of the competition.

eh their talent distribution is just a little skewed, like look at CR and it's very obvious that players like Ade or Fisker are just mechanically outclassed by the others

i think the new Zeta will be quite strong though, they picked up some very solid talents that are individually capable

posted about 2 years ago

Lmao you actually think prize winnings are where these esports players make their money? it's not even a drop in the bucket

posted about 2 years ago

benefit is if you lose against a team, you can easily analyze your mistakes against them and how they were punished. obviously sen will prepare as well but fur have good resources to study

posted about 2 years ago

do they realize that zellsis used an actual slur against a riot official, and zombs just called a scene trash?

posted about 2 years ago

there's no point being ashamed because of the bad apples lol. in your position it would def suck because people generalize the whole community when talking about these issues out of convenience, so it feels like you're getting wrapped up in the whole argument

either way you have nothing to feel shameful or guilty about, every community has shitheads like this

posted about 2 years ago

i mean this is part of the issue no, i guess brazilian fans naturally have their identity tied so deeply with their country that if you mock their scene in a fucking video game it gets understood as an attack on their country and everything they stand for

kinda sussy

posted about 2 years ago

people still being upset at leaf, who was literally just a 16 year old kid who did nothing wrong, is so fucking weird to me lmfao

posted about 2 years ago

LMFAO i thought this was a fake account at first

welp not like he would say this unprovoked, but now it's just going go down a long rabbit hole of "you started it" "no you started it"

i am here with popcorn

posted about 2 years ago

unfortunately i think c9b prefers to play teams with a play style like full sense, but if they have monstrous individual performances i can see a world where they upset

posted about 2 years ago

is his username inspired by shox from csgo or unrelated? anyone know

posted about 2 years ago

probably covid cases spiking and causing them to stay in quarantine until the end of december, missing the holidays with their families

nice statement from the pimp of all the pimps and bitches

posted about 2 years ago

good post. unfortunately one blurry screenshot of a minimap is enough for people to start calling for people's throats

funny thing is SEN lost breeze anyways, forfeiting it wouldn't change anything

posted about 2 years ago

I agree the way this is turning out is pretty sloppy, but do they not have an obligation of consistency? VGIA and X10 both had to forfeit maps when they were punished for this exploit, in matches also in the VCT Circuit. Why would they suddenly change the punishment?

posted about 2 years ago

If you're going to dish it out you have to be able to take it, that's the whole VLR experience. Shit on other people when your team is feasting and get shit on when they lose, gotta experience both

posted about 2 years ago

I'm sure with Sacy and Saadhak they have a strong understanding of the game and how they want to play it, but the team has too many weak points to contest the the top imo. The strongest teams at this event are incredibly well rounded with nobody in particular "weighing them down" like Liquid, or Gambit, and when they play a team that has a few stragglers I feel they will get targeted and exposed. Hope they can prove me wrong but just how I see things ending up

posted about 2 years ago

I don't get it, if a bug isn't fixed by riot after a certain amount of time it should be allowed for everyone to abuse it? lmao

posted about 2 years ago

no reason as in he didn’t cheat lmao

posted about 2 years ago

i mean that’s mostly because a specific group of people really hate leaf for no reason

posted about 2 years ago

ye, just saying every star player has those rough patches. yay is the only one that has that monstrous level of consistency (hope he doesn't prove me wrong today lol)

posted about 2 years ago

FNC similarly played very sloppy in that series. Gonna be rooting for C9B for xeta but you can't really compare day 1 fnatic and fnatic today, they look like completely different teams.

posted about 2 years ago

yeah, i'm gonna be rooting for them against SEN tmrw. hope they do well!

posted about 2 years ago

Lose one series

Change roster

never change vlr

posted about 2 years ago

he shit the bed against SEN in the finals, if that doesn't happen again FNC can legit go all the way

posted about 2 years ago

Buzz is insanely good lmao, man just had a rough series. Normal for any star player unless your name is Yayster

posted about 2 years ago

Obviously we don't know how they matchup against other teams, but from the matches today FNC have shown the most impressive gameplay at champions. Helps that their opponent was top level so it has more weight than Liquid, who also did amazingly but were kinda just bashing KRU
