SRG lost against Funhavers in the Promotion/Relegation, failing to secure a spot on Stage 2. SRG was relegated due to under performing during Stage 1 Valorant Challengers, placing dead last (16th) in the Swiss Stage.

This leaves me with these questions:

• Is SRG going to go back competing in Game Changers?
• Is SRG cooked after Florescent leaving (2 time MVP)?
• Is SRG saving strats for GC finals? 😭

P.S: This is not a hate post, I love Shopify Rebellion Gold, I believe they're an extraordinary team on top of being the first GC team to qualify in Tier 2 Valorant.

Before you comment, I know Tier 1 teams (skill-wise) are way better than Tier 2 teams. Even the best Tier 2 teams can struggle against the worst performing Tier 1 teams. The reason why I believe Tier 2 is way more competetive than Tier 1 is because there's the threat of being kicked out of the League altogether after a bad split performance. If your Tier 2 places low, you may be placed into Relegation and if you cannot defend your spot, you may be kicked out. Meanwhile in Tier 1, performing wouldn't get relegated even if they perform bad.
