Also why is the score on the second one 0-13? Shouldn't that mean your enemy won?
Oh interesting. So the higher the number the higher the division. I'm plat-diamond and div 13.
Yeah its weird that it could be better to intentionally lose a game so that you can Q for another than to just finish the current match. Idk how riot deals with it, but I imagine that this is what the beta is used to figure out. Maybe you can draw a game if it goes to too many OTs?
You queue up with your premier team in the "premier open beta" tab, and just gives you an opponent based on a swiss stage(I think) type match maker. Relatively similar to queueing for ranked, but the map is preset.
Both ascent, all the games you play on this Saturday and Monday will be ascent.
You can queue for as many games as you can within the hour period. Since our first game took less than 1 hour, we could play 2 maps.
Very nice. I'm finding the environment where everyone takes the game a little more seriously a tonne of fun.
How did your premier matches go? I won both maps that I played, a 13-7 and a 13-5.
Was this map GenG hard anti ing and shutting down rb or just an off map from DRX.
They were very good at Reykjavik 2022 as well, but they haven't been the same since champions 2022. People figured out how to play against them, and they have never managed to properly adapt.
are there any good channels/resources which explain the basic elements of the pro game, such as spacing, defaults, and when/why to implement each tactic?
Also afaik he left on his own accord when his contract with DRX ended, rather than DRX refusing to refresh the contract.
That was buzz in week 1. My guess is that DRX plan to eventually have a proper 6 man roster and are letting foxy9 acclimate to the environment in games they are confident they will win.
That doesn't mean it's not due to copyright issues. It may be rrq or riot asking xffero to change his ign in order to avoid any potential future copyright issues.
I'd love 3 maps but honestly I don't think it's going to happen. 2-0 DRX, one OT one 13-9
You care about a little badge too much. Take it less seriously and put less pressure on yourself to rank up. Focus on improvement rather than rank.
Oh right of course. I misunderstood the prompt. I thought it was the highest peak then subsequent fall off.
nAts was still very good both before and after champions 2021 tho. At masters berlin he was probably the best player in the tournament, and he was one of the top performers during 2022 EMEA challengers for masters 1.
week where every team plays 2 matches instead of 1
Not gonna lie I'd be down for it. Wronski will only play 1 map tho.
I feel that a lot of comparisons can be drawn. Both teams operate with heavy teamwork and not the absolute best superstars, both dominate local leagues, both act as "gatekeeper" teams between top competition and the next tier.
Been playing a little recently because my siblings have been getting into it (haven't played since 2020) and not gonna lie, it's a lot of fun. I highly recommend playing some if you previously were into it and are feeling bored with valorant.
hardest cap i've ever seen in my life
99% sure they include all official streams, including all official costreams
woooooo
yeah baby
that's what i've been waiting for
that's what it's all about
Ban 💀💀💀 bro is the worst player mechanically on that team. Says, xeta, carpe are the good firepower, ban and munchkin are a tier below.
My bet is that they will do a champions sword, either with brand-new animations or the oni katana's animations
I mean RB had an acceptable performance all tournament whilst playing literally ALL FOUR ROLES. I don't see why people are coming for DRX, all of their players looked solid at times, they tied their previous peak, and it's just one tournament.
That's what he said? Loud cooked up some never before seen compositions, it's almost impossible to adapt to that sort of thing midgame. Loud will not look as strong on pearl or icebox next time they play these comps.
The map 100% needs a rework. They could alter the map geometry to make it so that the furthest you can fall back is pillar on B, and lower the side wall of secret to make it easier to clear.
Pearl is just a fucking B simulator. Probably the least interesting and entertaining map to watch (maybe a little biased)
Nah, DRX will 100% win a trophy within the next 3 years IMO. I think that with their approach to transfers, coaching, and support staff it's only a matter of time. FNC may have a harder time, but their moment will also probably come.
5th-6th, 7-8th and 5-8th in the past 3 events is still very impressive. Similar situation to DRX during 2022, and now they're title competitors. Give Lev time, and they will be top 2 Americas and/or top 5 worldwide.
DRX, LOUD, NAVI and FNC were the top 4 teams according to most pick'ems. Very surprising considering that it's a single elim bracket.
NA team where? SEA team where? Latam team where? obviously one of the leagues won't be in the top 4 yet, only 2 teams are.
Based on their coaching, counterstratting and overall togetherness, I believe the cloud 9 will be top 3 Americas next split, along with loud and lev/nrg/eg
They were previously sponsored by vodafone, the phone service provider.
