without drastic changes, Val will go the way of Overwatch and LoL = no tier2 scene, tier1 full of old talent too washed but hold positions because of clout/nepotism

better mechanics

actually more fun than Valorant

you dont have to worry if your teammate has a counter to utility (e.g. a skye dog to break cypher trips), you have all your own utility

also the gameplay is just more fun, the maps better, graphics better, shooting more precise...

This is also true of people who play Among Us. That's not a reason that Valorant shouldn't upgrade. Among all top tier FPS titles (Apex, War Zone, Valorant, CS2, etc.), Valorant is by far the lowest graphically. With time, this chasm will only widen.

The lighting is perhaps the most prominent feature, but the new Inferno really flexes the immersivity of detail. Valorant truly looks like a 2D cartoon in comparison.

Now, I start this discussion not to fight. There is nothing to fight about, CS2 is objectively a more graphically advanced game than Valorant. I am interested in how Valorant can evolve to keep up with the times. I think dynamic lighting could be ported easily to Valorant, and it would make the game feel very fresh after the game has entered this treacherous stage where its novelty begins to wear off.

What do you think? Wouldn't playing Valorant on CS2's Inferno be amazing?
